"Greeted by small children running around behind the counter for most of the night, owner shouted at a customer then told us food would be minutes we waited minutes, dish missing when we arrived home. When I was driving home the delivery...driver from here chased up my car bumper beebing to get past waving his fist, when I went back to complain a local taxi driver had beat me to it the delivery driver in a blue Peugeot had hit his taxi the owner was trying to cover him by offering food to get him off. All in all this place has gone down hill you can buy the curry sauce that they use for from farmfoods or Iceland. Food here is massively over priced. Don't waste your money go to Mr Ping or The Tasty."

Always have a takeaway from Mr Ming when visiting Southend, best Chinese takeaway in my opinion. I enjoy the Hong Kong style chille prawns, portions are really good and mushroom rice delicious

We’ve been going here for many years at least twice a month. We were recommended many a friend . We have tried other restaurants for family meals etc but nothing matches up. You can see the food being cooked, they are happy to change things...up for you, always friendly and can’t say we have ever needed to complain about anything, fresh, hot , delicious food, very reasonably priced. . What more do You need to know?

Collected prawn toast, peking ribs, wonton soup, Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce, vegetables in garlic sauce, egg fried rice, chips and satay sauce. I cannot fault any of the food. Every single dish was excellent. Beautifully cooked and seasoned...in a timely manner and the prices were very reasonable. The prawn toast and the peking ribs in particular were exceptional. By far the best I have had from a Chinese takeaway (including Southend and Chinatown, London). The gentleman who took my order and the lady who bagged up my order were very friendly. Will definitely order again soon!
