"sadly every time i visit while the wife is browsing the store it seems under staffed but the other day was hard to find a table that didn't have the last customers tray and left overs on it ,looked around for some one to clear...clean it ,sadly no one around ,so cleared the table contents to another table ,then the chef came out delivered a meal to a customer , went back with his hands empty , came back again ,yep went back empty handed , and again 3 x times ,never took back so much as a cup ,he could cleared three tables for no extra effort ,then a young lad came out clearing tables 5 mins later ,i dont ask for much just a clean cleared table ,think customers are being let down."

Shocked that for the prices of the drinks that they can't afford to supply crockery that isn't chipped

Called in here many times while shopping, good views across the complex if you like people watching. Nice staff, good food

Took my daughter for breakfast and chose the salmon and scrambled eggs. Not much I can say really, the eggs were over-cooked, dry and rubbery, and there was very little salmon. Disappointed.

a bottle of water, cortado coffee, tee and a cake, all for under £9. you choose your cake, then go to the counter, order hot drinks and eat, then sit down. smooth and good quality, as expected by m

my partner and I called for cake, tee and a bottle of water. even for a busy shopping time we could find a comfortable table. the service was a little slow because he was busy, but was better than the other two coffees. places in the same opposite we were going to. cakes were very tasty, service was polite, prices appropriate for what we had.

My wife came here today and left totally upset. There was a long queue and when finally got to the till there was hardly anything she could have left!! She settled for something as was hungry and was told a 45 minute wait?! When she finally decided to just get an overpriced bottle of water and leave the server was rude to her!! This happens occasionally and if you can’t cope when you know you will be busy then it’s on you to sort it out…. Not be rude to customers. Will not be returning or recommending this to anyone…. Disgusting staff behaviour.

Went early on a cold Saturday morning, so we could park the car without a long walk. Got our M&S shopping done, and decided to get a Breakfast in their Cafe. Bit of a queue, ordered two Tea, and Two breakfasts. Disappointed they do not...serve fried eggs, or beans, eggs only poached or scrambled. Paid, got our tea, found a table, collecting cutlery, napkins etc. on route. Bit of a wait for food to arrive, had already drunk a cup of tea. Finally arrived, sausage, two of toast, bacon, eggs, small tomatoes, and mushrooms. Looked ok...but not very hot! Not value for money, not very impressed! Would have complained, but did not want to queue again to speak to someone.

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
