amazing steak and pfefferminz sauce. came here 4 years ago when they visited Wales and did not stop talking about it, as so easy knew we were going to visit again and it was not disappointed

This grill house is no-frills but offers generous portions of tasty food. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff. We were grateful for their flexibility when we were running late. It would be great to see a bit more variety on the menu.

on holiday in ruthin and decided to eat lunch in spoons. much bigger than it looks, great outside area with beautiful view. service was for a Saturday, they know what a spoon sold, so eating was ok and drinks cheap. would be really nice out in the summer.

My partner and I visited Ruthin last night for our first evening and we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. Not only was the decor well presented, but the staff were also friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was incredible! I ordered the 16oz porterhouse steak, which was the daily special, and it was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place a hundred times over.

Yesterday, I went to Myddelton Grill in the square to celebrate my mother's birthday. The food was delicious, especially the steak my mother ordered. I enjoyed a dish of baked potato and salad, and the salmon was superb. The homemade profiteroles were a delightful end to the meal. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I stayed at the Castle Hotel last night with a group of seven and dined at this restaurant. The food, service, and staff were excellent from start to finish, with very generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant, even though Peter couldn't get a glass of port - a funny little joke between one of our group and the charming Hungarian waitress. We will definitely be back. food quality and menu really have a gear at wetherspoons, really great, after so long time back we were over at night in the castle hotel, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. the personal was all very helpful and we would like to visit again soon. the cask room in the ground floor was quieter than the rest of the pub and was ideal for a cozy breakfast on Saturday morning. I really agree to the 99p coffee-free refills, we will be back

Not a bad little restaurant in Ruthin. I enjoyed the menu and booked a table easily. At £40 per head for a 3-course meal, it wasn't bad. The staff did a good job and the restaurant was quite busy on a Sunday night. The fried calamari with salt and pepper wasn't what I expected - it was oily. The chicken and ribs were decent, but the vegetables were nothing special. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the peppercorn sauce. The fries were okay, but the limp and sweet potatoes weren't great. I wasn't a fan of eating off a wooden board. Warm plates would be a better choice. The cream and tiramisu were just average. this is a quirky old building with friendly helpful staff from the arrival to the departure with the usual 'spoons menu and great prices in between. our room was spacious, the bed was solid, but comfortable and very large. all linen were immaculate white. we were two floors up and no noise from down or other guests. the room looked a little tired and needed a touch-up, (note to pure look behind the bathroom door. but at the price was still excellent. pay attention to the parking space on the back of the building, there are now only two disabled rooms and that 's it, the other rooms are a little further on being the property of an adjacent business, so for all other parkings its just a little...
