Nargis Tandoori - Piatti

First time ordering from Nargis and it won't be my last really good, freshly prepared food. Prawn puri and chicken banjara . Friendly service My new Indian takeaway of choice . Recommended.

While staying with my friend in Stroud we have gotten great food from this takeout. They even stayed open for us to pick up food late. Everything I’ve had there has been excellent ready on time.

I'm not from the Stroud area, but visit here most weekends and this is my go to Indian, I've tried 3 of the others.....it's always been fresh and well balanced and ready on time. The madras was a good one and haven't been disappointed in anything. Visualizza piatti

Have eaten from here some time ago and fancied a takeaway last night. Ordered the set meal for two which was ready for us in 20 minutes. Absolutely delicious, could not fault it at all and brilliant value for money. Great service, great food, what’s not to like ?!

I always have takeaways,so last week orderd from Nargis Tandoori,ordered few tandori dishes also some curries!after long time had such a lovely meal,everythinghs was very delicious and warm,highly recommended for everyone in stroud also compliments to the chef and other staff!great food ever!

I’ve had three takeaways from here in less than a month. My average was three a year before I moved to Stroud! I’ve not eaten the whole menu yet but I plan to work my way through it over the next few months to hell with my diet! This chef knows spices; his blends are precise and defined. The nan bread is perfect, the dhal is delicious and the rice is aromatic and full of flavour. I’ve been eating curry for over 40 years Nargis is in the top 3. Visualizza piatti

First time I have been here. Ordered chicken tikka paneer, paneer was tough as boots in lumps. Stated fairly hot, but too spicy to eat. Ordered cheesy naan, which is advertised as stuffed with cheese, they should have called it lucky naan, lucky to get any cheese .I ordered chicken jalfrezi for my sister and a keema naan, again, should of been a lucky naan, lucky if u find a scraping of meat in there..On the plus side special rice was nice.Sorry won’t be ordering again

We ordered a takeaway consisting of two tandoori mixed grills and some side dishes. At home, when the rather leaky packages were opened, we could hardly believe the burnt and crumbled mess presented. Although the meal had a consistent red colour, presumably a dye, there were practically none of the rich spices one would expect. The side dishes were hot but the mixed grills were just lukewarm. Most of the food ended up in the rubbish bin and our evening meal was ruined. Our telephone complaint met the reply “I was very busy” and an offer of a replacement meal. No thanks.

I got a bit tired of going to my usual curry take away and decided to google take aways around Stroud for an alternative. nargis Tandoori ranked highly on the reviews in the search. So I plucked the courage picked up the phone and ordered away a mini feast of vegetarian delights. The man on the other end of the phone was well spoken and charmingly courteous. The food will be ready in the usual half an hour (not sure how this has come about as the optimal waiting choice)Having driven and parked in the car park opposite the police station, a momentary saunter and you’re confronted by a tiny understated Nargis Tandoori.
