Simplemente ESPECTACULAR y MUY RECOMENDABLE. Muy buena relación calidad/precio. Tienen muy buena cocina, elaboran platos y pinchos con mucho mimo y la creatividad está presente en todos ellos. Las veces que hemos ido nos hemos dejado aconsejar por ellos y la verdad es que no hemos podido quedar más satisfechos. There are lots of neighbourhood bars all around San Sebastián but this one is a step above the rest. The kitchen is run by graduates of the Basque Culinary Center and you can surely taste the expertise in the dishes on offer. It’s nice to see that the graduates of the school in SS are finding local business they can afford to buy into and develop. We had a great little lunch. Green bean and grilled foie gras, Nachos with guacamole and fried chicken, seasonal veggies with ham, Russian salad-all delicious!

I visited with my wife and son as we were staying close by in the NH hotel. The menu a dia was 11 euro and the waitress was really helpful explaining the bits we did not understand in English. We had pasta and tuna salad starters which were fresh and tasty. My son had squid which was excellent and very tender. Mains were chicken escalope band pork kebab. Both really well cooked and super tasty. You get a drink wine in my case fresh bread and a coffee. Superb value in my opinion. Not Michelin but very honest tasty and great value.

With such good reviews, I expected a lot from this place, however I must say I was very disappointed for the following reasons: 1 The food was of poor quality and it was nothing like the photos in Trip Advisor 2 We were charged for the bread which we had not ordered. 3 We were also charged for the food which we even had not ordered. I pointed this out to the staff and asked for refund. She sounded apologetic and returned the money, so I’d like to think it was an error.
