"We have ordered many times from Nono’s but our most recent order will be the last. The pizza was delivered stone cold, half the order was missing to compensate they sent a complementary tiramisu on a vegan gluten free order. When we phoned...to complain the Manageress literally argued with us. She stated she added the complimentary tiramisu herself, totally missing the point that it had both dairy and gluten and so not any compensation at all, more of an insult. Whilst I understand things happen, she argued that the she sent the pizza herself within the last 7 minutes, yet the delivery guy phoned 8 minutes previously stating he was lost outside our property. Totally gobsmacked by how rude she was when dealing with a customer complaint. Honestly customer experience is paramount and this has tarred our experience so much we won’t order again."

Due to covid was decided to try a web order (with collection) from Nonno’s Pizza in St Albans. Whilst the website said 20 minutes but may be longer due to covid, the food was ready in 15. Pizza’s were good but was a bit too...tomatoey for my taste.

they charge £3 extra for gluten-free so only £16 for spaghetti bolognese and it is not even spaghetti. mushy, terrible penne. at this price I could have literally gone for a steak, at least if they were using gluten. free ordering by tearing off, make it with spaghetti ffs

big pizza, but that's the second time that an online order has been screwed if it didn't come after 60 minutes, I called and they said order would be at least 30 minutes. frustrating no one keeps them updated. ratts by neighbors who. tonight, is the best to try order over deliveroo instead of directly on their website. disappointed and children angry and hungry.

It was the best pizza in St Albans when their first opened. It went downhill few months ago. They forgot an order on one occasion, on second occasion they gave us a wrong pizza. Mushroom risotto was mostly half cooked mushrooms in creamy rice. It’s...not the same staff and quality of dishes slipped. There is little chance I will be ordering from Nonno’s again. Shame as it was a great pizza place.

Nonno’s confuses me slightly. The food is delicious, the pizza second to none, but it is more expensive than many other pizzerias. Great it offers gluten pizza, they don’t tell you it is £3 more. The restaurant is cosy and full of ambience if you eat...in the main part, otherwise the covered over outdoor space feels a little out of it. The service, however is great, and nonno as I call him) always entertains. Still worth a visit and a welcome chain free independent.

Ordered at 7.12pm email advised one hour. Called at 8.15pm to check to be told order had just left. Called back again at 8.45pm to be told order not yet started as they had no order number it would be with me in 16 minutes....Order arrived at 9.15pm it was hot but don’t pay for extras as not worth it very little ‘extra’ on each pizza. Such as shame as food was hot but for some reason quite salty. Won’t be ordering again, such a shame the order was over £90 and most of it went in the bin.

Small, intimate restaurant. Once we opened the door we was instantly welcome with the staff cheering Bonjourno to us, happy upbeat staff. We sat outside and it was a lovely set up. We personally didn’t have any starters but all had pizzas and they were...all delicious. Staff were all lovely. We took our dad there for Father’s Day. First time going and would definitely return. Good value for money. Only downside is the parking but wouldn’t put me off returning to the restaurant. Clean toilet and clean restaurant. It was a little narrow and tight squeeze to get to the toilet with all the tables but again, wouldn’t put me off going again!

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."
