Lovely fresh sandwiches with salad and chunky chips. Delicious salad dressing. Nice spacious setting, tables were regularly cleaned and good service

Hardly any seating due to very much overdue refurb absolute nightmare staff doing their absolute best but obviously upper echelon should get their act together.

First time visiting today and pleasantly surprised. Viewing on the map I felt it might be slightly smaller than the West Bridgford Notcutts but actually, it was better! Will definitely be back!

Called in today after nit visiting for quite a while. I had a cheese scone and cappuccino. The scone was one of the best I’ve had for a long time and I could actually taste the coffee in the cappuccino.

Just for tea and scone snack on this visit. with your membership you get a couple of drinks per month free as well as10% off items bought in the garden centre, well worth the £10 annual fee.Some days can be very good food available other days very differant. dosent seem to be a very consistant service. I visited the restaurant today for lunch around 12:40 on a Saturday. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a lunch selection available, with only gammon as the meat option. This was disappointing because we have had fabulous meals here during the week. I ended up getting a couple of scones, which I must say were fantastic - they were large, just the way I like them. My only criticism is that the portions of clotted cream and preserve provided were very small. I ended up having to purchase additional cream to spread on the delicious scones. Overall, bigger portions would be better!

Unfortunately this restaurant seems to have gone down hill. There used to be a carvery a few years ago that was very nice but this is our second visit since they started serving on plates. Sunday dinner consisted of a handful of dry carrot batons, six mange tout, 2 halves of roast potato, 3 sprigs of tender stem broccoli, Yorkshire pudding, apple sauce 3 thick slices of roast pork with gravy. I gave my Yorkshire 1 of the roasties away as they tasted strange the potatoes were hard/tough. The pork was also dry. Not impressed will not have the dinner again. We called here for lunch and sat outside. The food was tasty, the drinks were served nice and hot and it was all good value. The selection of food was okay (not a huge selection but not exactly limited). Cakes looked amazing but we were too full to order any.One thing I found really great was the children’s picnic box. Having had a terrible experience elsewhere last week in being charged way too much for a picnic box which was quite honestly terrible; Notcutts provided something above expectations.
