"I am currently visiting a friend in Aix, and he had recommended that we give this place a try. The restaurant is right off of one of the main streets, making it pretty convenient to reach, and the smaller size added to the comfortable atmosphere. The owner, who made our food and served us himself, was incredibly kind and helpful, even speaking in very clear English.The menu was varied and overall priced fairly, and the setup of the restaurant allowed me to watch my potato get made before my eyes. Served with a side of lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette, the potato was stuffed to the brim with toppings whose flavors complimented each other perfectly, The potato itself was also smooth and flavorful, and the whole package ended up being one of the best comfort food experiences I've had in my entire life. I would absolutely recommend BAKED to anyone staying in or visiting Aix en Provence."

"A nice welcome, a competent staff is well-appointed, a modern and pleasant room, everything starts well: In the entrance we took the home foie gras with a jam of onions and fig bread, of great finesse. In dish a Fountain matured 45 days extra selection accompanied by Frites, Petits Légumes and Sauce aux Cèpes. A pure wonder with the requested cooking respected. For dessert a sublime floating island."

"Cet endroit vaut le detour tant pour son cadre zen et moderne, que pour sa cuisine authentique et artistique. Il y a de belles tables a l'interieur comme a l'exterieur sur la terrasse. Le service etait irreprochable. Le serveur etait au petit soin lorsque je lui ai dit que j'etais intolerante au gluten qui se cache dans tous les plats a base de sauce soja. Il a offert de modifier les plats sur le menu. J'ai opte pour un plat de sashimi en salade auquel le serveur a ajoute de l'avocat a ma demande, mais sans sauce soja c'est un peu fade... Je conseille vivement a tous les restaurants japonais d'avoir de la sauce tamari a disposition de ses clients allergiques au gluten, elle a le meme gout et le meme usage que la sauce soja, sans le gluten. Allez vite essayer, vous ne serez pas decus !"

"Très chouette petite enseigne, comme l'avaient indiqués les autres avis que j'ai suivi. J'ai bien fait, on m'a servi vite et bien, et pour ce que c'est (j'avais pris une pita moyenne qui est plutôt grosse et une boisson , le tout à 10 euros) franchement ça vaut le coup niveau rapport qualité prix. J'aime beaucoup le concept de "personnaliser" sa pita, on peut mettre autant de légumes qu'on veut dans un éventail de sauces excellentes! À refaire sans aucune hésitation!"

"Located on a corner of the historic square, this classic French restaurant is a great place for dinner. Book ahead as it is popular too! The service is attentive, patient (with our rusty French) and friendly. The food excellent for the price point. Excellent wine list with many good wines available by the glass. Not too casual but not too formal either. We had the ceviche (on fennel, chickpea humus, pickles) and asparagus with burata (candied kumquats, wild garlic) for our starters. Bread of course is served and I had to remind twice of my gluten allergy with the bread and the amusebouche, but my starter and main did not contain any gluten. Our mains were the grilled lamb with aubergine (feta, olives, celery) and steamed pollack (lemongrass, turnips, mashed potatoes, vanilla). I could have done with something carb based to accompany the lamb, but everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The detail in the dishes makes it a more interesting dinner, isn't overpowering, allowing the star on the plate to shine and everything else compliment it. Portions sizes were about right not too much not too small. Prices are about right for what you get, although could be seen as a little steep overall. We're based on London prices so for us this is about normal. It has an upmarket interior and very comfortable seats with good sized tables arranged so that you are not talking right next to someone else, allowing a feeling of a bit more privacy. It's well thought out for a pleasant dining experience."
