"We were seated promptly, but the server appeared overwhelmed with the number of tables and our service was slow. To avoid constant ordering, we chose to get a bottle of wine. Although the food was delicious, there was no vinegar or other condiments on the table. After trying to get the server's attention with no success, we borrowed vinegar from another table. When I asked for mayonnaise, we were only given two packets to share, which was disappointing for a mayo lover like myself. When we mentioned the missing condiments, we received a sarcastic remark about lucky the vinegar bottle had been disinfected. Despite enjoying our meal, we were surprised to see the restaurant closing early. The server seemed annoyed as we finished our wine quickly and made a remark about us getting drunk. This presumptuous comment made us feel uncomfortable, so we left quickly and would not dine there again."

I love places that have all day veggie breakfasts! Good coffee too. Was busy so you know its good! Close to the harbour.

Lovely views and the best breakfast in new quay!!!!! Only down side staff weren't as sociable as expected but if you are looking for good food to set you up for the day then this is the place to go!!!!

Went to New quay for the day while on holiday so called into the old watch house for something to eat.this is such a lovely place lovely tasting food very friendly staff I would highly recommend this restaurant

The food was tasty and served quickly. We decided to pair our meal with a bottle of wine, but we were unaware that the restaurant was closing in 40 minutes. The waitress was quite impolite, and as soon as it was closing time, she stood with her hand on her hip, glaring at us. Honestly, her behavior really detracted from the overall experience. We popped in for lunch (light Bite) over the weekend. The views from the outside eating area were perfect. The food helpings were bigger than expected and good value for money. The inside bar area needs some updating to make it look more inviting professional as does the 'casual Summer staff ' who seemed to be larking around rather than serving customers.

After reading the good reviews and passing the restaurant we thought we would have breakfast to finish off what has been an amazing holiday .we had to wait for twenty minutes for a table despite there being empty tables once sorted we placed our order the tea was brought over without milk we Sat waiting patiently for our breakfast to arrive 30minutes later no food my husband reminded staff .The tea was undrinkable toast came buttered and what we thought would have been exceptional was sub standard hard eggs no mushrooms supermarket sausages with very poor service
