Nice bar with a good atmosphere shame about the price of the drinks they are extortionate

We stopped by for lunch and received excellent service from Lexie. The bar staff was also wonderful. We always enjoy dining here.

The chicken was overcooked and tough, while the steak was too fatty. However, the kebab was delicious and I definitely plan on ordering it again in the future.

Russell ccoked my breakfast this morning and in my 25 years of travelling up and down the country staying in hotels and the su h with work this was by far the best breakfast I've ever eaten and the service was exceptional

We had a family and friends gathering after my sisters funeral at 10am. It was a difficult time because people had eaten breakfast but it was too early for lunch. Julie the manager was extremely helpful and put on pastries tea and coffee. The reception from the staff was very warm and welcoming. It’s was a very pleasant experience after a very sad funeral. Than you to all the staff for the pleasant experience.

Ladies that lunch visit regularly for our Salads after our slimmers group.We have the hot Chicken and Bacon Salad. It is good value for money. It is well presented and there is plenty on the plate . Our other lady has food off the hot menu hunters chicken. She loves it . Same again good value for money and plenty on the plate. The staff are so welcoming and would do anything for you. It's the only place in the area for a good lunch.

In 2024, I visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The staff were pleasant, and the chips and gammon were enjoyable. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The steak in the mixed grill was cooked incorrectly - I asked for medium but it was rare and fatty. The chicken breast was dry and squeaky, the sausages were gristly and undercooked, and the mushroom was burnt. My partner had the roast dinner, but found the Yorkshire pudding dry and old-tasting, and the vegetables were barely cooked. Despite my complaints to the uninterested and dismissive staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation. I will be contacting Marstons directly to address my concerns. Visualizza piatti
