Il personale era più che amichevole e il cibo era semplicemente incredibile! È un gioiello nascosto di Venezia che deve essere conosciuto.

We were recommended this by a Venetian, and it didn't disappoint. The owner makes the food himself, and we came away wishing that more people knew about it.

Super spritz! Super musica! Super atmosfera! Mi è piaciuto molto! Il padrone di casa è molto cordiale. Miscela di spritz con le bevande consigliate ed è stato fantastico. Il bicchiere era grande.

Il cibo era fantastico, il personale super cordiale e lo spritz e i cicchetti incredibili. Un posto super accogliente dove fermarsi per bere qualcosa o mangiare qualcosa. Totalmente raccomandato.

The starters were good, the vegetarian plate was good, the squirts could have been more seasoned and less hairy yes, we found 3 (2 black and one blonde) hair in our food. The main dish was Spagetti with clams, which was (unexpectedly) spicy! Not my cup of tea! But all, in all, nice atmosphere, nice music, polite service and comfortable interior design.

Dopo aver controllato nella nostra casa 03/30, l'ospite ci ha portato in un breve tour della zona e ci siamo ritrovati a BABA. Abbiamo avuto un espresso, caffè Americano e Aperol Spritz, totale per tutti i 3 era solo €6,10. Personale molto cordiale, anche ci ha permesso di prendere, gratis, alcuni pacchetti di tè verde menta per la nostra figlia malata.

This restaurant is really special. The staff were friendly and passionate about the food. They clearly love local produce and are happy to recommend dishes to you. Refreshingly the menu is very simple (hooray) as they cook whatever they buy in the market that day. And it shows, the food was fresh, well thought out delicious. Brilliant pasta. Particular commendations to the red tuna which was one of the best steaks, meat or fish, that I’ve eaten. This was the best meal we had in our week in Venice. Highly recommended.

Ottimi frutti di mare, preparati con grande dedizione e cura, atmosfera rilassata e personale cordiale che condividerà felicemente la loro passione per 'la Serenissima' oltre alle gemme culinarie che si possono trovare sul menu! I piatti possono variare in base alla stagione e a seconda di quali prodotti locali possono essere trovati sul mercato! Oltre a questo, il ristorante impressiona con un'ampia selezione di vini regionali! Un po' fuori dalla pista turistica, questo posto invita ad essere scoperto per promettere una notte indimenticabile trascorsa a Venezia!

We spent one night in Venice and were lucky enough to stumble upon this place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation and were seated straight away. The menu changes every day because they base it around the fresh ingredients they find at the market each morning. We had a parmigiana di melanzane with a smoked cheese to start, then a fish platter (we chose sea bass, cod, and tuna accompanied by chicory and artichokes). To finish off we had a homemade tiramisu.
