Located in the centre of the lovely town of Nagold pedestrianised, fountains, old buildings etc , da Gino has an unassuming exterior. The dining room is small and the service very personal. This is the place where you can ask Gino 'what have you got...and what would I like'. This goes for food as well as wine. This is not a place for a heavy pizza, in fact, Gino does not serve pizza and the like. This is where you can experience the taste of Tuscany. I ordered a glass of wine Gino's choice having described what I would like Gino left the bottle and said help yourself to more if you like it! I suggest making a reservation

My husband and I live just a few miles from Nagold. We have dined at Osteria da Gino three times and have never been disappointed by his abundant Italian style hospitality. Not only is the food fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared; it is also served...with personal style and panache. Don't go there expecting pizza. This is a place for pasta, salads, and beautifully cooked meat and fish dishes. Dessert is also a treat. Gino and his staff do not speak English, which I find rather refreshing. And while there is a menu in existence, when we've gone, he's basically just asked us how we've felt about whatever it is he has on hand.
