We ate here twice on our recent trip to Rome, the food was really good and not too expensive. It’s fairly near to Trevi Fountain as it’s only five minutes away so a good place to hide after the madness of the fountain (massive crowds there)

Mi piace mangiare in questo modo, leggero a volte e questa volta è stato perfetto! Insalate, pizza e cannoli. Avevano tutti i tipi di pesce, ma io non sono una persona che mangia pesce. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto, ma il cameriere avrebbe potuto essere un po' più attento.

Our cab driver took us there as per his recommendation . The waiter asked if we wanted meat or fish (pesce o carne) and we went with the fish. The food and service were superb, however, the food they offered us were not all in the menu. The bill came out as a bit of a surprise but not at all unexpected. Visualizza piatti

Non mangerò mai più qui dopo la truffa completa che ho quasi accettato qui. Elementi extra che non abbiamo mai ordinato o consumato sono stati aggiunti al conto, che abbiamo rifiutato di pagare. Hanno chiaramente un trucco in corso, organizzato tra di loro, e scelgono chi truffare. Il cibo è effettivamente decente, ma non mi fiderei mai più di loro. Siete stati avvertiti.

We’ve ordered some pasta and all of them are tasted very good but it would be better if the portion is bigger. Not cheap price though. I would suggest you order two mains or lots of starter if you are hungry. There are only 5 bottles and two draughty of beers to choose. The staff will ask too obviously for extra tips on top of 10% service charge you’ve paid. Even they are doing nothing.

We wanted a light lunch and ordered the appetizer platter of artichoke, cannoli beans, pita type bread, etc., plus ordered the bruschetta. We were pleasantly surprised! This was one of the most flavorable Roman meals we’ve had in Rome (most are pretty bland), and the service was impeccable (not sure why there’s reviews of poor service). Questo è il mio posto preferito nel centro di Roma. È sempre un piacere anche solo passare per un bicchiere di vino. Ma ciò che devi assolutamente fare è mangiare qui, servono cibo incredibile e hanno deliziosi piatti come tartufi e aragosta. Puoi mangiare lì senza svuotare il portafoglio ma è assolutamente un posto da portare qualcuno per una serata speciale. Porta tua mamma qui o porta il tuo ragazzo. Io ero lì con la mia cara amica e la prossima volta raduneremo tutto il gruppo di ragazze per una serata fantastica insieme!

I’m afraid this is my first negative review. A bit of a tourist trap; we made the mistake of sitting down to eat without checking out the reviews on trip advisor first. We had a seafood soup for two with some sparkling water. The bill came to £94, which in my view was hugely overpriced. The food was average. The waiter showed us the fish beforehand but offered no information on the price, despite us telling him that we were only after a light bite. To be fair, we should have been more proactive in enquiring about prices so please don’t repeat our mistake.

This location was close to the Trevi Fountain. We stopped in on our way to our hotel which was close to the Trevi. The waiter was kind and patient with our questions. I asked for recommendations and I took his suggestion. Fettuccine Pasta with Porcini Mushrooms for €18. I also had a nice glass of the house red wine. When my dish arrived the waiter sliced fresh mushrooms onto the noodles! It was very cool to watch and tasted even better! The pasta was thick, smooth and perfectly cooked! And it was served in a beautiful, colorful plate that added to the experience. My glass of red wine was perfect with the meal. There was free WiFi and my credit card was accepted. Visualizza piatti
