Ristorante di alta classe in una posizione unica. Abbiamo scelto di rimanere per Capodanno; tutto perfetto, una festa come a casa, il proprietario Silvano davvero gentile. La cuoca proprietaria Eliana offre una cucina di ottima qualità, curata e bellissimamente presentata, con un sottofondo musicale di ottimo livello! Congratulazioni e buon anno, torneremo presto!

We stayed at a private villa down the road and found this restaurant on the second to last day of our trip based on the recommendations from previous guests and the owners. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We had a late lunch all alone on the grounds looking toward Bagno Vingnoni, the pool, and the trees. Our host was amazing, the views incredible, and the food was even better. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly from the caprese salad, the rack of lamb, the pasta, the wine, and dessert we were so happy to be here and sadder to leave.

Very charming hotel idyllicly located in the stunning Val D'Orcia. Owners Eliana and Silvano are two of the best hosts you will meet. Silvano is the key that opens a myriad of experiences throughout the are and Eliana is an amazing cook. Their hospitality and food is honest, authentic and a sheer joy to experience. Rooms are lovely and warm, the swimming pool is private and has lovely views while the public rooms are very comfortable and inviting. Siamo stati qui per 2 notti. Siamo arrivati tardi la sera e abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza molto calorosa. Ci sono stati preparati degli snack locali e abbiamo potuto gustarli al ristorante con un ottimo vino. Durante tutto il nostro soggiorno, tutto il personale è stato super cordiale. La camera era confortevole e molto pulita. Ho dormito con i tappi per le orecchie perché i muri erano molto sottili e potevamo sentire intere conversazioni dei nostri vicini a un volume normale. Anche la posizione è meravigliosa. Amiamo la val d'Orcia e abbiamo fatto delle splendide escursioni nella zona.

Mia moglie ed io siamo tornati qui dopo 6 anni di assenza e l'abbiamo trovato proprio speciale come ricordavamo. Dopo un mese stressante avevamo bisogno di un po' di coccole, e dopo 3 giorni qui ci siamo sentiti ringiovaniti. Silvano è l'ospite perfetto, e ha fatto tutto il possibile per rendere il nostro soggiorno memorabile. L'hotel e i giardini sono incantevoli, e la campagna circostante è la Toscana dei tuoi sogni. La colazione è un buffet meravigliosamente vario, e abbiamo mangiato tutte le nostre cene qui poiché è il miglior ristorante della zona. Siamo stati abbastanza fortunati da soggiornare in questo bellissimo albergo per 4 giorni nel 2021. Ogni giorno avevamo pianificato di provare un ristorante diverso nella regione, ma La Vecchia Posta era così incredibilmente deliziosa e il personale così gentile che siamo tornati più volte per provare il maggior numero possibile di piatti. Non c'è una scelta sbagliata nel loro menu, ma abbiamo adorato il cacio e pepe, la zuppa di pomodoro (il pappa, credo fosse chiamata), il Cervo, Tagliatelle al cinghiale e qualsiasi pesce avessero era anche incredibile. We stayed at the Hotel Osteria del 'Orcia for a week. We ate the majority of our meals at the restaurant and were delighted by the food and service. The breakfast spread had everything you could hope for: from freshly made yogurt and locally sourced Ricotta, meats and other cheeses, to a selection of bread, toast and fruit, teas, jams and honey. They also had hard boiled eggs prepared every morning and you could also ask for an omelette or soft boiled egg if you wish.
