"I first graced the steps of this place in 2019. Wowsers to the changes. To call it a ‘gastro-pub’ is detrimental. It appears that three fabulous ladies run it now. Correct me if I’m wrong. I popped in for some beverages but ended up staying until supper. Extremely surprised that they have a 100% vegan option. Spicy, zingy and mouthwatering green lentil and five bean chilli. Proper comfort food in an ample portion. Like me, they don’t like food waste. So I have a carton of leftovers. Non alcoholic drinks by request. Fabulous non-alcoholic gin with elderflower cordial, dash of sugar syrup, lime and mmmmmm lemon too I love fine dining but this fabulously run place is homely, comfy and fun! Plus your well behaved dog is kept amused and made to feel like gold. Such a cordial welcome. No airs or graces. Dress up or just be casual. Just come as you are. The only place where well behaved dogs are allowed in Cupar. Cozy and lighthearted atmosphere where the only requirement for entrance is “wearing clothes.” Offering water in a dog bowl for your pup. I could go on but with so many small places having to close for good, this wee establishment has lasted. Could have stayed until closing but we were totally shattered and Biggles is snoozing away. If you’re near or far, come check it out"

"eat here a handful of times over the years. definitiw best to book a table before her visit. I'm never disappointed with the food I got, even though I had a burger that didn't taste right, but without problems it was removed from my bill, so I haven't complained and I've been back since. tomahawk steak for 2 is what we had visited this recent one, for the first time since kovid and it was good. there was an increase in price for the offer, but for what they get with steak and all the sides and sauces, it is definitely still favorable. served with king prawns, fried mushrooms, chips, sweet potato chips, tweeper rings, partial salad and a lot of screed and a very good pfeffer corn sauce. sauce has blown off my head at first, but at the end of my meal I really enjoy it and wish I had more to eat to end the sose with . many eat for 2 people. we originally ordered it as a medium/Rare for my lust, but as my partner medium likes / well done we called to change it on medium, which was no problem for the personal at all. I would say it was cooked and not moderate, but since it was still delicious, I complained zero. a payment of £25 is required when booking and deducted from their bill at the end of the meal. definitely worth a visit, whether for eating or a good pint! cozy atmosphere. good selection of drinks. friendly and friendly staff. clean device. compliance with applicable rules."

"First time visiting today. We live in Dundee but passing on our way home from visiting at my mums in Fife. Safe to say we will be back and would even go out of our way to visit. Great service we weren't sure what fillings we wanted in paninis and the lovely lass took time to give us a wee menu there was no rush. Paninis were quick and delicious one of us got sweet chilli chicken and cheddar and one chicken tikka and cheddar. Well filled, piping hot and so tasty. We've got a cake to share later and it also looks absolutely class. 5 star service and food"

"Im in a scotland road trip with family and stopped by many restaurants. This place was our best meal by far. The foods were amazing. Packed with flavours, beautifully presented, well portioned and fresh. Kudos to the chef. The haddock is big, crispy and well seasoned. I love how big my onion rings was, also nicely stacked. My kid loved the macncheese too. No fault for the food. I love everything. Place also very comfortable and Debbie welcome us warmly. She also noticed I cant eat bacon. Thank you for that. Green house bar grill is a must visit when in Cupar. Kid-friendliness: Toys and baby chair provided"

"Visited today, Ordered a coronation chicken sandwich, on brown bread for me and white for my husband. Although there was a good amount of chicken, the coronation part was a sauce spread on the bread, very thinly. The bread was dry and may have been more edible if there had been some butter on it. The young staff were nice and the service was quick, just a pity about the food. It is a nice place, and I haven’t tried any of the other food available so I would recommend that if you do go there avoid the coronation chicken!"
