Paracas - Piatti

Great portions of well cooked food from South America. Nice room with good latin music. You will enjoy your dinner. Good variety of wines.

In the spring of 2013 we were at a short holliday and we want to eat a special dinner at Paracas, but all the menues looked so delicius, that it ended with 2 steaks 2 banasplits 2 Irish coffe, it was very good, that we always will get back, at least 1 time at every holliday.

I went here today with my best friend to eat dinner aften visiting the jewish museum. I am vegan and quite fuzy but the awesome chef made a special order just for me and it was the best food I have ever tasted. I am so pleased and thankful for the great customer service. We stopped by when we walk and surprisely what a night!! Exactly not touristic and real latinese who they are Berliner. Good live music and volunteer young singers. People sharing here deeply. Foods are ok. Don't expect wow, average mexican food we tried but it's ok. Service good and friendly, depends how crowd to serving perfect. We were there at sunday but it was best thing to do for sunday night in my opinion.

We were staying very close by and after a long walking tour we needed a good meal! The food here was good standard Mexican food but the portions are very generous indeed! Don't be tempted to order too many starters, put it that way! It was all well cooked and very tasty. Service was prompt and fri madly without being rushed and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. Several vegetarian options too. So, good solid food and plenty of it! What's not to like?

We arrived and had no reservation. They kindly greeted us and gave us a table. I had the Seco con Frejoles. What I disappeared so quickly, I couldn't make a picture before it was gone. It was soft juicy lamb, accompanied by beans, jucca and an onion salad. My Grilfriend had Quesadilla con Pollo, who came with a salad. She liked the Quesadilla but did not enjoy the salad because the Dressing Mayo had in it. Overall we had a great night with delicious food and drinks. Visualizza piatti

Paracas is a nice restaurant with a lack of identity. We went there attracted by the idea of eating Peruvian food, but we have found a menu with Peruvian, Mexican, Argentinian and Brazilian "specialities". Then I thought to find Chile wines in the list, but with my great surprise, all the wines come from Spain (?!).This confusion, in my opinion, is reflected in the dishes, all of them "acceptable", but none of them "remarkable".Prices are in line with the level and the quality of this restaurant.Service too.

I was used to visit Paracas, but last two times I ate there I was really disappointed for the lower level of the food. Nothing bad, but they started to "save money on the ingredients" and this made their food very standard. Doses are even more and more little and given that it is full of Mexican restaurant in Berlin, I simply found a better one where to eat.Sorry, but, in my opinion, this is the classic example of a restauratnt that, got a certain turnover of clients, starts to play with doses and ingredients to earn more. Or simply they changed the cook that has no udea how to cook mexican....

We vistited Pracas I in Wilmersdorf on a Friday evening. We had booked a table, but it didn't seem as if the booking was registred. Still no problem getting a table. The restaurant has a pretty good choice of cocktails, but we all opted for either wine or beer, which were all sold at very good prices. The menu offers a good choice of typical mexican and peruan meals, but also has great choices for meat or fish. The prices were in our opinion low and we expected small servings to these prices, but the portions were very good and the food was enjoyed by all in our party.
