Piccolo's is a no-nonsense sandwich bar that serves up breakfast perfection in Mayfair. During our stay at a nearby hotel, we visited almost every day of our holiday. We couldn't imagine our trip without Piccolo's!

Bumped into this cafe by pure accident and what a find. Not the 'most ' friendly staff, but helpful. Perfect brunch to take to Radio 2 fest in Hyde Park and so much cheaper than the breakfast in the hotel we stay in every year. Will definitely return !

Do you want experience a work lunch in Italy? This is the place to be! This place seems a proper Italian Bar with the best combination of ingredients for a Panino! The portions are more than you expected and the taste is sooo good.. Definitely will come back!

I used to grab lunch here everyday and never had a problem (would be great if they’d use gloves rather than bare hands to handle food). However today I was well over charged for a chicken escalope and some greens (no fries, no rice). Even the girl that served me was surprised and didn’t agree with the made up price that the other lady told her. Won’t go back.

This is one of the best café in the neighborhood. The owner are really nice, services are excellent: you don’t have to follow the manual. Just tell them what you would like to have and they will customize for you! And the prices are also very affordable as well. P.s.: if you are a student, they will offer you a student discount. Many people have commented on the limited service at this restaurant. However, the food is delicious and very affordable, especially considering its location. A similar spaghetti bolognese dish, of lesser quality and smaller portion, would cost three times as much at nearby restaurants. It's unfortunate that they don't have an alcohol license, as a large chianti would have been the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, it has a charming, basic atmosphere but is definitely a success.

This was a fantastic hidden gem. It is one of those places that turns food preparation into an art form, making it a joy to watch while you wait. The restaurant is small and cozy, but don't let that deter you. You can also sit downstairs or find a few stools upstairs. The food is made from scratch with evident passion and efficiency. I tried the chicken melt with roast vegetables and it was delicious. The coffee was also top-notch and reasonably priced. It was busy during lunchtime, which was a good sign of its popularity.

Had breakfast and followed up with stopping by for a takeaway dinner. Fortunately we got to breakfast before all the local tradesmen arrived at 9:30. When we left they were lined up out the door! Very small with tables down stairs. Order at the counter, go down to get a table, they bring down your order and pay when you leave. We both had a ham and cheese omelette which was delicious and filling. Coffee was excellent. We wanted to eat dinner in so stopped by later and got 2 orders of spaghetti and meatballs delicious but we should have only ordered one as the serving was huge. But leftovers are ok too!
