"It was a hot day which is never easy in a kitchen or for waiting staff which I know from experience. We were a table of four dining for a special occasion. Two dishes arrived with several missing components as is advertised on the menu, the shortfall was made up with a ton of chickpeas. This has to be communicated and wasn't. The green salad appeared to not be dressed, I asked the waiter who then brought oil and vinegar to find the dressing beneath the salad at the base of the dish and not mixed through. Now a double dressed soaking salad. There was no salt, pepper or sauce for our chips. The waiting staff didn't notice, I had to ask, the chips got cold. This is basic training and awareness from waiting staff and communication between themselves and the kitchen. Let's be clear, this is not cheap pub grub and on multiple levels there were failings. The manager was polite and apologetic and for 2 dishes we were not charged. A point in note is that all front of house staff were very young, including the manager which could be fine if well trained and switched on. Perhaps this is cheap labour? Frankly I would expect a lot better on a number of levels."

"Perfect Food was delicious, brilliant selection for all taste buds from chicken to salmon, monkfish, prawn, lamb, mixed. From mild to very hot. Fast service, nicely presented with friendly, lovely polite staff. Tonight was quiet, which we prefer, being able to talk and hear each other speak. The booking was made for tonight, Sunday for a table for 5. We had starters, mains, sides, dessert, alcoholic drinks, soft drink and 2 Irish coffees to end the evening. We are new to the area, this is the second time we have been to this Nepalese restaurant and the only one we have visited since before the Pandemic. This will be our regular haunt for a 'treat ' or special occasion from now on. First visit was a Saturday evening, very busy, two large parties. extremely popular place to eat locally yet still the good service and quality food was evident."

"A rare lunch date with the wife ,we decided to revisit the Holly Bush based on good previous experiences. We didn't make a reservation but managed to get a table at the top end of the bar. It took a while for us to be served and the lunch menu was pretty limited and the dishes were quite pricey. I asked if there was a sandwich menu but only a brunch menu. We both ordered the Vegetarian brunch breakfasts. It took a while for the food to arrive. The breakfast is pretty small for £16 and very small pot of baked beans and poached eggs were a little hard. A shame no Avacado added as you are paying quite a bit for small portion. Staff were friendly but I don't like the fact that 12.5 discretionary service fee is added. The table behind me commented on the quality of the burger priced at £21 which seemed high. It's tough for pubs in this climate but the pricing has got a little steep compared to other comparable establishments in the area. This is our experience and hopefully management acknowledge our feedback."

"We booked evening in the private cabin organised through Debs who was on the ball and easy to deal with. The cabin was beautiful, cosy and nicely decorated with large table that enabled everyone to join in conversations and not feel left out on the end The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Cocktails were very enjoyable apparently by those that had a few! and The wine was good to. The staff, Mel and her team were friendly, attentive but not obtrusive, they did a marvellous job looking after us all. Thank you all for such a great evening. I would recommend dining in the cabin but also the restaurant with its shabby, chic rustic feel it's gorgeous. They do good breakfast too !"

"Came across this cosy and cute little tea room from a google search. Was staying in the local area for a night and had just visited Frensham ponds. We called ahead and a polite person on the line answered our questions about foods on offer and I booked a table. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in a place where people care and have passion. From the decor, the fresh flowers, the pretty furniture and smile on staff and customer faces. The food was fresh and tasty and came quickly, I had a cheese and onion chutney panini (See pic with a coffee and my wife had a Spinach and Goats cheese tart, the little man had a jacket potato with Cheese and beans on the side. Delicious, you could taste the fact it was made by someone's hands rather than chucked into a fancy heater or microwave. Kasha (the owner (apologies if I spelt the name wrong and her staff were lovely, we had small talk, medium talk (If there is such a thing and a long conversation as we were the last to leave. We were even gifted tiny hand made booties which are made by the Cook (She had left before we arrived otherwise I would have a name and a pic with the boy . Who does that!!! (See pic We left so happy from the Red Rose Tea Room and wish them nothing but happiness and success. A small place with a big heart. If you are thinking of going, go! We will back next time we are in the area."
