Pizza Express Beckenham

BEST PLACE EVER, it was so good, excellent service towards our group and it was excellent customer service and really felt good

We came here for a quick pizza. The pizzas were great and the staff were nice too. Exactly what you'd expect for a pizza express

Visited for my birthday with my wife and kids. The food was lovely, the service was amazing, a special thank you to our waitress Fernanda who was so friendly, welcoming and really took care of us. Definitely recommend..

Very very so sadly poor. I don't get a cent from Ask Italian around the corner but soo much better. Beckenham branch has gone some hill fast. Sad. The manager today clearly does not lead by example by the state/cleanliness of his hands/nails. So sad

The manager on the 10/08/2021 has a complex. I'm sure the same chap spotted by another reviewer below. The other managers are really fantastic (were not on shift that day)! PE get the other guy (manager) some more training. Actually feel sorry for the fellow Visualizza piatti

The pizza and olives were nice but the side salad and garlic balls were rubbish. The garlic balls had no garlic in the butter and the salad was very plain and boring. The staff were nice but didn’t seem to care to ask if everything was ok, they would ask then rush away before I could reply.

We arrived at 1.15 on a quiet Wednesday , myself and two boys and to say service was slow is putting it mildly. It took half an hour for the child’s starter to arrive Salad and a few dough balls, then the dough balls were not as hot as usual. Someone near us sent hers back because they were cold. My Fiorentina pizza was tasty but very much on the pudding side. As we were going to the cinema at 2.40 we had to abandon desert and it is the first time ever I have not left a tip for the service. Another point to mention is that the ladies toilets stunk and were very unloved which is disgraceful in these days of extra hygiene.

Saturday night experience, 29.08: Staff not wearing masks or shields (apart from one female waiter in a mask); the guy who was serving us (middle aged, greeted us at the door and looked like he was a manager on the shift) was very careless with cutlery (touched with his hands) and then, when he was serving us bottled drinks I saw him open the bottles and then grab them with his hand at the top (from where you pour a drink). I had to wipe everything with the antibacterial wipes I had in my handbag. Pizza base on one of the pizzas was soggy and underbaked. The waiter I already mentioned was not hospitable, looked grumpy and almost annoyed. the restaurant had customers but was not 100% full so... Visualizza piatti
