Wow wow wow , the food here is out of this world , so authentic and a great dining experience , myself and the hubby decided to go out for our 23rd anniversary meal and chose here as been recommended by friends , we were not disappointed to say the least .

We had the 2 course menu which was also available on Sunday, which was good value. We bought some friends who all have different tastes so Nonnas was a great choice. Some had roast Sunday lunch and other pizza and pasta dishes, so everyone was happy. Al the meals were good portion sizes and tasty. Thank you

Fabulous Bottomless brunch! We go to Nonnas whenever we are able to, restaurant is always lovely and welcoming … good always great! Starters were poor. Even my 8 year old commented that the garlic bread was like rock. Calamari was edible. Mains were slightly better although carbonara looked like it had been under a heat lamp. Service was mediocre. Food was brought in a timely manner but not attentive. Resturant wasn't particularly busy probably around 6 tables.

We went for the bottomless brunch. All was absolutely excellent... plenty of drinks and good selection, good food and a great atmosphere. Thank you to the hard working staff, as it was very busy but they kept their cool and were unflappable. The Bublé tribute singer was really good, got a real party atmosphere going. Would definitely go again.

Was looking forward to a birthday meal here but the food was really poor and not worth the money. The chicken parmigiana was like trying to eat a leather shoe, tough, dry and old. Yuck ! The pollo pesto with pine nuts was swimming in oil and I think the pine nuts had escaped the oil as there wasn’t any. The twice fried frozen chips were ok and that was unfortunately probably the best part of what should of been a good meal. Paid high prices for a very poor, mediocre at very best meal, and certainly won’t be recommending or returning. My wife and I, thought we would give the 'Bottomless Brunch ' a go. Tapas, with a reasonable list of cocktails as opposed to the usual prosecco. So, hopes were high for a good afternoon. The cocktails were below average. I had seven, and walked out after 90 minutes totally sober. Not that my ecpectation was to be killed crossing Chatsworth Rd, but at least to have felt the results of the magnificent 7. The tapas was, well, not great. Mostly bread, tomatoes and some poorly constructed cold, tough chicken kebabs. Not great to be honest. We visit Chesterfield at least 5 times a year and always visit Nonnas for an evening meal. As other reviewers have said it used to be a fantastic experience brilliant food and atmosphere. We visited this evening and the food was awful goats cheese fritters to start which were undercooked the cheese cold in the middle. We then had the chicken parmigiana which was dreadful overcooked, tasteless, tough and accompanied by an oversized and overpowering portion of fries. It lacked any flair, attention to detail and was just awful. It was such a shame as 12 months ago, I gave the restaurant a fantastic review. The meal and service were fantastic. Fast forward 12 months, and I see they are under new management, and its like a completely different restaurant. Firstly, we were right by the front door, and it was absolutely freezing. Secondly, the menu has reduced in size to only a few mains and pastas, of which they had run out of Lasagne! The meal came and most of it went back un eaten.
