"Who would have thought that Italy could be reached so easily from Rendsburg. At least from a culinary point of view and in experiencing the proverbial Italian hospitality. If you want to experience it, all you have to do is go to the pizzeria “da Mario” in Eiderpark. At the beginning we were greeted warmly and given our place. The order was taken quickly without forgetting to exchange a few friendly words. This is how we found out that the Ristorante has been a family business in the third generation for 35 years. We were able to see that during the generational change, not one percent of the Italian friendliness and charm in “da Mario” has been lost. With that in mind, we were excited about our meal. We both ordered a pizza, which was quickly prepared by the senior manager. However, the desired level of spiciness was asked beforehand. Here every pizza is prepared individually according to the customer's wishes. The result was great. Both my wife's pizza and mine had plenty of toppings and tasted excellent. The dough in particular deserves praise here. He was simply “great”. We really felt at home in “da Mario” and will definitely be guests more often now."

Very tasty pizza, price/performance is outstanding. The service staff is very attentive and extremely friendly, and special requests are also happy to be fulfilled. Tiny little thing in case the host lets you do this: feel free to give a sharper knife with the pizza. I'd love to come back

A great family restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a friendly team. The dishes are always wonderfully fresh, delicious and prepared with a lot of love. Da Mario caught the eye with good reviews. We didn't really look into the menu or prices and just called. A salami pizza and a spinach pizza. Together with a small salad that was 30€. We took the pizzas with us. The restaurant is in a shopping center, which of course doesn't do the ambience any good. Christmas music was playing. It's okay at Christmas time, but you didn't really have the feeling of being at an Italian restaurant. The pizza was greasy, the dough thick and wobbly. The salami wasn't special. The spinach tasted sour. In my opinion the ingredients were not fresh. I doubt whether the pizza dough was homemade. All in all, I didn't see any difference to a pizza that might be availab... 11/2024: There is now a very nice atmosphere in the new store. Despite the mall. The lasagne was good, actually really good for a shopping center. But there is still some room for improvement. The waitress was super nice and even knew the regulars by name. One more star in everything. 2020 (3/5 stars): Went to Da Mario for lunch. The Italian is located in the Eiderpark shopping center. Vo. So you shouldn't expect much in terms of ambience. Nevertheless, an attempt is made to make up for the shortcomings of the echoing, neutral, lifeless shopping temple with decoration. The tortellini alla panna were OK. Temperature of the dish was great. The noodles were instant noodles, which is not a drawb...

When we came in we were warmly welcomed and taken to our reserved table (Saturday 12/6/24) the cards were handed to us openly and we were warmly greeted by the host (junior) we didn't know what was coming to us... my partner and I both ordered the Luca pizza and the children ordered the Bolognese and the pinsa nr2…. We were more than thrilled, the courteous young man who had so much to do and stress that we didn't notice at all was always very attentive and accommodating. Thank you very much for looking after our family day so well... When we had given the order it's freshly prepared ciabatta bread with homemade aioli, the aioli is a poem... It was just fun to watch the family work, you can...
