"Schönes Lokal, aber lustloses Personal Wir (zwei Ehepaare) sind am Samstagabend (22.02.2025), nach einem Restaurantbesuch, gegen 21:45 Uhr ins DeJa.bo eingekehrt. Schon am Eingang wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass es „aber nur noch ein Glas“ geben werde – bei einer Öffnungszeit bis 0:00 Uhr! Als wir dann ein bisschen spanischen Schinken zum Wein ordern wollten, bekamen wir die Rückmeldung „ die Schneidemaschine ist schon sauber“. Andere Gäste, die um kurz nach 22:00 Uhr kamen, wurden sogar direkt hinauskomplimentiert. Ein schönes Lokal, das so aber bestimmt kein Geld verdienen wird. In Zukunft jedenfalls ohne uns! "Wir haben heute das erste Mal in rostock sushilicious getestet und waren insgesamt enttäuscht. Für 37 euro für 2 personen take away hätte ich mir mehr erwartet. Was hat gefehlt? - yakitori spiesse schmeckten nach convenience. Fade sauce und leicht pappige Konsistenz. - sashimi lachs: ok. Menge in Ordnung für 8,90 euro- ura maki crunchy sehr röstzwiebellastig- ura maki tekka spezial schmeckte gut- das Ganze noch in reichlich plastik angerichtet, zudem wenig ansprechend sehr eng reingepackt, das können mittlerweile andere Anbieter nachhaltiger und hübscher.- der Verkäufer frug 2 x nach ob ich bar oder mit ec karte zahlen möchte. Auf meine Nachfrage warum das am telefon schon wichtig zu wissen ist, gab es ein Schweigen. Ich gab schliesslich an mit Karte zahlen zu wollen.- ohne kommentar fand ich auf der Rechnung den Posten 1 x zahlungsgebühr für 20 cent. Geht nicht um die 20 cent, aber die Art es zu verschweigen. So kam es zumindest rüber.Persönlich finde ich Gebühren gleich welcher Höhe für EC karte gehen gar nicht.Abschliessend blieb ein fader Beigeschmack was im übrigen auch für das essen galt."

"After striking out on the first place we were going to eat, we stumbled upon the Block House! It looked busy which is always a good sign during the middle of the week and patrons coming out said the food was great. So we tried...it and were not disappointed. We both had steak, salad and potato and all was cooked to perfection. The staff was fun and service was great. The menus is in languages which was great! We like our steaks rare and they were done to perfection. The atmosphere is cute with an open kitchen and a nice bar and outside seating. The pricing was very reasonable. If you want steak, this is your place. So go and enjoy"

"Without the recommendation here on “Happy Cow” we would probably not have run over the way to the restaurant. It lies directly on a large street and off the shopping street. There is both a daily ticket (unfortunately nothing vegan) and a normal menu with three clearly marked vegan main dishes. The service was friendly, the food was quickly on the table and felt incredibly delicious with little salt. The beer is traditionally served from a bowl that is also an experience. Prices are reasonable."

"Nice restaurant that gives the impression of serving good cuisine. Unfortunately, the kitchen has prepared scampispies that already spread an unpleasant smell. The superior was completely overwhelmed with my complaint, had to first enquire what to do. As long as the scampisps continue to stink. Then they were finally removed. A word of apology was not part of the style of the house. The rest of the food was fine. The superior might be a little less snorky. After all, a reasonable amount of money was finally required."

"Ich habe mich aufgrund der Empfehlungen hier bei TripAdvisor auf dem Weg zu Helgas Kitchen gemacht und stand davor und wäre am liebsten wieder zum Hotel zurück gegangen. Aber ein Blick durch die großen Fenster machte uns neugierig. Bereits kurz nach dem Betreten waren wir uns sicher dort zu bleiben und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Außergewöhnliche Einrichtung und gekonnt zusammengestellt. Bedienung top freundlich und geduldig, Essen (Burger und Salat) waren top und vom Preis okay. Lasst euch von der Außenfassade nicht abschrecken und genießt dort den Abend"

"Ich habe hier mit einer Freundin gefrühstückt. Das Ambiente ist wirklich wunderschön alles ist sehr stilecht und passt wie eine eins! Man kann sich kaum satt sehen an der schönen Einrichtung :) Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Portion des Frühstücks mussten wir etwas verlängern, da wir morgens gern viel essen. Die Auswahl an Aufschnitt, Käse etc. war super und sehr abwechslungsreich. Mein Hund durfte auch mit rein - ein großer Pluspunkt. Später wurde es dann etwas voller, dementsprechend auch ein wenig eng, aber die Bedienung hat sich vorbildlich um uns gekümmert. Am herrlichsten war dann die Torte, die wir zum Schluss noch probiert haben - großartig."

"Even if located on the "main" tourist street this is not a tourist trap. You can go in confidence, all on the menu if very good. My daughter had excellent fish, I had the special typical sausage with fries (to die for) with a glass of champagne...if your German is to my level (aka nil) no worry, there is at least one person able to translate in English. Prices are very good for a balnear station."

"Zum Stromer ist ein liebevoll renoviertes und ebenso liebevoll betriebenes traditionsreiches Fischrestaurant im ältesten Haus von Warnemünde. Die paar Schritte weg vom allgemeinen Rummel entlang am Alten Strom sind es auf jeden Fall wert. Man sitzt wunderschön in der alten gemütlichen Gaststube. Das Essen von der übersichtlichen Karte war anspruchsvoll und phantasievoll. Wir hatten es ein bisschen feiner und etwas weniger deftig erwartet, aber so ist Ostseeessen eben, deshalb nur 4 und nicht 5 Punkte. Wären die Portionen nicht ganz so groß, könnte man auch mehr Gänge probieren. Der Wein, ein badischer Sauvignon, war herausragend und passte perfekt. Der Service war tadellos, liebenswürdig, schnell, flexibel und professionell. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passte. Auf jeden Fall reservieren! Fazit: Eines der vermutlich besten Fischrestaurants in Warnemünde. Wir kommen sicher wieder."

"We were staying about 3 Km and asked at the ibis budget hotel if there were any Restaurants nearby, the Receptionist recommended this Restaurant.Situated opposite the local train station it is an unassuming restaurant (from the outside). Inside it is full of character with dark coloured wooden beams and faiy low lighting.The menu was quite extensive albeit all in German! (I was under the impression that menu's also had to have an English language version within Europe?) I ordered the Rump Steak, this came with Pommes / Frittes / Fries) on a bed of white onions in a thick onion gravy and a small selection of salad stuff. The piece of meat was a good size and cooked just as I had requested.I chose a local Beer, Rostocker Pils which was delicious. German beer has NO chemicals in it so it is pure and you do not suffer any after effects as a result of drinking too much.Desert was Apfelstrudel (Apple Strudel) which came with Ice Cream and fresh whipped cream. To finish off I had a mug of coffee.Total bill for my meal was 34€40 (exclusive of service) inc;usive of 19% Mwst / VAT (UK) Tax (USA)Staff were very friendly and welcoming; between my limited German and their limited English we all achieved what we wanted meal wise.When I go back to this area I will be sure to return to this restaurant."

"We didn’t ear ourselves, but could see from what other guest ate that the food was good and the portions generous. The pub/restaurant first appears small, but there are more tables om the first floor. However, we were lucky to get a table om the...ground floor and was ordered to sit by a big round table together with some other guests. A bot unusual, but quite nice actually, as it strengthens the familiarity of the restaurant. The stuffed animals and fish skeletons on the walls and dangling from the ceiling might not be to everyone’s taste either, bu we thought it adds to the atmosphere!!"

"Never again! After the menu only came after Min, it took another Min until the drink order could be placed. Shortly before dying of thirst, the drinks finally arrived, but they weren't complete either. When we ordered the beef carpaccio with quail egg as a starter, we were told that there was no more quail egg. The starter arrived carelessly at our table, but it tasted good. The pikeperch we ordered was way too dry and the mustard sauce had too much mustard, so that you could hardly taste the pikeperch. In addition, the pikeperch was only lukewarm. Rumpsteak “was way too tough and the promised tomato as a side dish was just a small slice of tomato. Conclusion: Very uncoordinated service staff and the food left a lot to be desired. More appearance than it can definitely NOT be recommended"

"Nice little restaurant/pub along the canal. Inside and outside seating. Seat yourself. We were originally given a German menu but they quickly exchanged it for an English one. Husband got the turkey and I got the Turbot. Both were excellent but the side of vegetables was the best we have ever had. Not sure how they prepare it but it was mixed vegetables with a rich buttery flavor, fresh and cooked perfectly. The Turbot was cooked perfectly and you could tell it was very fresh. Service good. Some waitresses speak better English than others but all tried and were helpful. Prices decent. Great Rostock beer."

"Bij Die Grüne Kombüse is het eten heerlijk, de gerechten creatief en zijn de ingrediënten van hoge kwaliteit. Wij aten hier met de kinderen en waren niet specifiek op zoek naar een veganistisch restaurant, wel naar een goed vegetarisch restaurant. We bestelden 4 verschillende hoofdgerechten en deze gerechten waren onderscheidend; vaak tref je bij de verschillende gerechten dezelfde ingrediënten aan, maar bij dit restaurant niet/nauwelijks. De kinderen vonden het eten ook lekker en daarnaast is het tijdens een vakantie wel prettig om ook weer eens een voedzame maaltijd te kunnen eten i.p.v. pizza. De prijs is naar Nederlandse maatstaven laag en op vergelijkbaar niveau met restaurants in de omgeving. Parkeren ('s avonds gratis) kan praktisch voor de deur. Een aanrader!"
