However, we were lucky to get a table om the...ground floor and was ordered to sit by a big round table together with some other guests. A bot unusual, but quite nice actually, as it strengthens the familiarity of the restaurant. The stuffed animals and fish skeletons on the walls and dangling from the ceiling might not be to everyone’s taste either, bu we thought it adds to the atmosphere!!"

In an old rustic building across from the harbor sits this iconic restaurant. Seating on two levels, but small. I recommend reservations.

Certainly the shop was full, we were put on a big table with the hint that other guests will take place. Beverage order was quickly received and the shortest time they stood.... With the other guests at the table we quickly got into conversation... So we bridged the waiting time for our food... No more goes, food super, service super, always like...

We found this place while mooching round the older parts of Rostock and we were warmly welcomed by the smashing barman/waiter. You simply must go upstairs and take a photo from the gallery of this pub cum ship..amazing. The place is full of cosy corners...all for yourself where you can enjoy a beer and a bite. Very traditional small menu and excellent Rostock beer. Try the dunkel! Loved it.
