"This was our first visit and it was for a family baby shower. The whole cafe was booked just for our party but there were others eating on the tables outside the cafe. The cafe is easy to find and there is nearby parking. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The finger sandwiches had a range of tasty fillings including tuna, egg, ham and turkey. There were also some unusual home-made chutney and Welsh rarebit tarts, These were followed by delicious home-made scones with jam and clotted cream. The finale was a choice of home-made cakes. Teapots were brought round regularly and there was also a good quality coffee option. The whole experience was really enjoyable. Even though we travelled 30 miles, we’ll be back!"

Visited between Christmas and new year having looked on trip advisor for a place to eat. I would fully recommend.

Great cafe for a bacon and egg sandwich on homemade bread. Good coffee too. Reasonably priced and always friendly staff.

My friends and I had breakfast at this restaurant on Saturday. It was quite crowded and we had to wait a while for our food and drinks, but what we received was enjoyable. The bacon was a bit tough, but I understand that it may vary based on personal preference. The staff was friendly.

This charming and welcoming cafe is a hidden gem. I love that it's so close to my home! I frequently stop by for a delicious lunch with my dog, who always gets a special treat from the staff. The food is fantastic, with daily specials to choose from. And don't even get me started on the cakes - they are absolutely delicious! The staff is super friendly and welcoming as well. Visited this delightful cafe today despite reading a negative review earlier this week as I was passing through Bramhall and the parking was convenient. I must say the cafe was bustling and all the homemade food leaving the kitchen looked delicious. I ordered the special which was egg mayo and crispy bacon barm and it was lovely. I’ll be back, thank you for the great lunch and warm welcome, it was well worth the visit.

I was looking so forward to my vegetarian breakfast and was going to make it a regular event. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations and certainly didn’t look anything like the description on the menu. It was really tiny. The stuffed pepper was 2 slices of pepper with a tiny piece of halloumi. The crusty bread was one slice of standard bread. The egg was really greasy and the overall presentation was poor. It was not worth the money, I have had much better for the same or less elsewhere.

Took my Mum for a cup of tea on Saturday and we both took a trip to the toilets.....I was horrified, filthy woodwork and walls, the lino on the floor was lifting and in need of replacing, toilet looks like its never seen bleach, rusty taps, dirty sink, dirty mirror. The teapot, cups and saucers were all stained with old tea marks the table tops and table legs were dirty. A stack of babies high chairs had old food stuck to them. The whole place needs a good scrub with bleach and boiling water. Im so glad that we hadnt ordered any food. Visualizza piatti

I don't understand why this place has received so many good reviews! I visited with my husband and daughter, and we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre and expensive. I had a greasy egg and bacon sandwich that was lacking sauce until I requested it. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a small amount of pita and hummus. When I went inside (we initially sat outside), I was shocked to see how dirty and run-down the establishment was. If I had looked around and used the restroom before ordering, I definitely would not have chosen to eat here.

Plumcake cafe never disappoints, but today I wanted to leave a special review. With the Worker Bee market on in Bramhall precinct today we knew it would be busy. We stopped by for elevenses, among us a young wheelchair user and grandad with a walking frame. The young staff were very helpful at getting us seated and as ever the service, food and drinks were 1st class. In spite of our extra equipment we were comfortable and didn't feel in the way, in fact most unusually 95 year old grandad chose to stay for a second coffee which is unheard of! Another diner brought their dog Ruby over for my son to pet, which he loved, a great morning. Thank you.

"A recent discovery for me is this beautiful Indian restaurant, which I rank up there with the best in Manchester, situated in the heart of Didsbury Village. Curries are without doubt my favourite food, so I've had a good few and since working for Yelp I have set myself the task of really locating the finest curry houses in Manchester. The Original Third Eye fully deserves to enter in at the top, alongside my other favourites, Punjab in Rusholme, Moon in Withington, and The Original Lal Qila on Deansgate. See my list for the run down. The name Original Third Eye comes from one of the finest restaurants in Kathmandu, though it is also a reference to the concept of the all Seeing Eye, a central emblem of Buddhist thought that is depicted on many temples and shrines throughout Nepal. The restaurant itself is large, and spacious, with authentic decoration and a smart, but still nicely informal, table arrangement. The food is literally unbelievable. Needless to say they sell all the usual traditional curry dishes, including an extensive fish list, but the main specialties are something new and unusual, a curry with a little something extra, taking it to that next level of joy and producing happiness and glee in their very consumption. The kidney kebab starter for example, combines classic kebab spices with beautiful marinated lamb kidney. Also beautiful is the Third Eye Tangri, which mixes chicken with minced lamb and nuts, a surprising and beautiful combination. In terms of mains, go directly to either the seafood menu or the Third Eye Specials section, on which everything is gorgeous. The piece de resistance, is the Murghi Masala, a whole chicken marinated in wonderful spices. This dish is so precisely crafted, that you in fact need to give 24 hours notice, and at least two people need to share it. I think that epitomizes this restaurant's absolute class. So I end on that note."
