Pointz Castle Ice Cream

Lovely high quality, tasty ice cream where ypu can see the moo cows on site too! Be warned.. the large cone is HUGE!!! We couldn't eat it all

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly, and the ice cream is fantastic. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are very reasonable. We were impressed by the variety of flavors available, including my favorite, coconut. Highly recommend trying this place! Visualizza piatti

We love coming here when visiting Solva, the service is always second to none and wow what delicious ice cream! I really enjoyed the Bueno whilst the kids had Jaffa cake, definitely worth the short trip from Solva! Or even a longer trek it’s the best ice cream in the area!!!

Lovely ice cream. Good parking. When you ask for a gluten free cone, the staff wash their hands and use a different ice cream scoop and take it from the middle of the tub not where the others are being taken from. This awareness is hugely appreciated so thank you so much. I haven’t had ice cream in a cone for a long time.

Fantastic ice cream! Truly the best around. It does get busy but they move the queue so quickly you’re never waiting long. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and if you’re around at milking time you get to see the ladies who give us our ice cream. One idea could you do a tasting platter where you could order a small portion of maybe 5 or so flavours? You have so many, we visited 6 or 7 times on our holiday and still barely got to taste half of them! Thanks again and see you next year Visualizza piatti

Stopped off for a break and Ice cream. Fair selection. The only thing was the attitude of the young staff being totally bored and not interested in customer service. Also the staff were picking bits off the cones and helping themselves to chocolate flakes and eating them..the same ones they serve the ice cream in. Even when seen they carried on. The young server didn't even wear serving gloves when handling the cones after putting his hands to his mouth. Not a good look. Think someone should look at health and safety here as well as customer relations/service

I've lived in Pembs for a while now and ALWAYS hear that Pointz Castle is the best place for ice cream, but I only recently made the trip out. I'm so angry at myself for taking so long to go!! It's incredible!! I had chocolate in a waffle cone the scoop is massive, it's so creamy and thick, the flavour is delicious, the cone is fresh and crunchy, and the price is fantastic. The others in my party had different flavours (I think blueberry cheesecake and some sort of cherry) and were equally impressed. There were so many flavours to choose from, I genuinely can't recall. I can't wait to go back!

We saw the ‘Pointz Castle artisan gelato’ sign driving to St Davids and vowed to go back later during our holiday and investigate. I’m so glad we did! Very generous ice creams the single scoop was more like a double elsewhere! this was the cheapest and best ice cream we had all week (and we had a ‘one a day’ policy for our holiday! . We had a lovely chat with a lady from Haverfordwest while eating our ice creams; she said she deliberately planned her dog walks so she could stop at Pointz Castle for ice cream after, and I completely understand why!
