"We have been to the Poterhouse on a number of occasions and unfortunately have had issues with the cooking of our steaks. Now bearing in Mind that steak is a specialty of the restaurant you would expect the chef to be able to cook it to the customers requirements, blue, rare, medium, well done etc.... however it took 3 attempts to get a medium rare T-bone even the Manager declined the 2nd attempt before it even got to the table....... in the end the manager cooked the steak ...... in the meantime I had personally finished my dinner which kind of ruined the night. As I said unfortunately this isn’t the 1st occasion this has happened. The manager to her credit removed the steak from the bill and actually applied a further 20% discount to the bill. And was extremely apologetic....... but I can honestly say this will probably be the last visit, which is a shame because it is a great restaurant. Please please please invest in a bit of time and training to teach your chefs how to cook a steak."

The food was terrible and I will never return. The cod was overcooked, the salmon had foil left on it, and oil dripped from the onion rings. This was the worst meal I have ever eaten.

My partner and I tried the hunters chicken, which is not listed on the menu. It was absolutely fantastic! I think they could add more options to their menu, but overall, everything was exceptional.

I wouldn't eat here again as my salmon was not cooked properly and was like pink jelly inside.the food when it was presented really looked a mess.The serving staff were really friendly and it is a lovely location .maybe they need a new chef

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the portion sizes are too large, leading to a lot of wasted food. My biggest complaint, however, is regarding our reservation. We booked a table for 7pm, arrived at 6:45, and were promptly served drinks. However, we didn't receive our food until 7:50, despite the restaurant not being crowded. This was incredibly disappointing.

Was very chilly but that may have been down to it not being very busy. Staff were very friendly. We were booked in for 8.30 and were quite soon the only people left. Unfortunately there were no ribs left by the time we ordered so that was a bit disappointing. Our meals were really well presented and cooked to perfection. Its very weird being the last table to leave the restaurant but i suppose somebody has to do it !! Good job we didn't want desserts !!!
