"the poseidon restaurant is a pretty good place in the beautiful city mayen. there you can get good Greek specialties like the acropolis plate (a suflaki, a steak, gyros and tzaziki, plus salat and rice) and the Poseidon plate (a lamb chopper. a lamb fillet, a suflaki and gyros, with salad and rice taste.) it is a pleasant place, very well furnished. a part of the decoration calls the ancient Greek culture. in the inner is, for example, a white structure which consists in four columns with ionic capitals, which is as if it were a Greek tempel. the place is very well illuminated and the volume of music is not too high. the personal is friendly, professional and helpful, their members are always ready to give their advice so that the customer help to meet the right choice. eating is good, although I couldn't say it wasn't excellent. I ordered a grilled sole with salat and rice and the fish was very well cooked and tasty, but a bit hard. the restaurant is not expensive. for all the above reasons, it is a recommended place to eat while in mayen."

amazing place with delicious food! highly recommended! I really enjoyed my time there. the owner of the restaurant is a great person and he always ensures that everything with her order is on place.

I wouldn't eat here again. Salad was drowning in dressing. The meat was okay although the lamb was mostly fat. The restaurant itself was messy and the staff busy watching TV instead of serving food.

the food was very good and had a lot tast. the staff is very friendly and the owners are also from Greece. it is not far from the nürburgring, and the roads along the way are very beautiful and twisted. next time back! χαριστώ πολύ!
