Potemkin Berlin - Piatti

As the weather was scorching hot I want for a cold dish, the Salad Gagarin, which was tasty and plentiful. He accompanying bread bun was industrial but tasty too. A good beer fresh beer with it, efficient service and no problem paying with a credit...card. I left content.

Well it was much better than expected. Ok, clearly not authentic Russia but my chicken dish was tasty and my partner’s beef stroganoff the real thing. The borscht starter was equally good The whole place is a “Potemkin village”. Looking like Russian but not. I...hate it when the waiter asks for a tip.

Das beste Frühstück. Herrliche Atmosphäre mit genüsslichem Blick auf die Brunnen von Viktoria-Luise-Platz. Absolut zu empfehlen. Alles was serviert wurde, hatte beste Qualität und war makellos. I went with a friend for breakfast and we ordered two of their complete breakfasts plus drinks, which was way too much food though it was very good. Bread basket, smoked salmon, eggs with bacon, sweet yogurt with sliced nuts, fruit and I think...some other goodies. I would order something less the next time around, but not because the quality was bad. This is a great place to go on a nice day.

I went because I was hoping for authentic Russian food, and ordered borsch and boeuf Stroganoff. Both were ok-ish, but did not taste as they should have done. The sauce to the Stroganoff was made without sour cream; I could not tell you exactly what...the borsch was missing, it was a perfectly okay beetroot soup, but it just was not borsch. I think they may be trying to cater to German palates rather than serving proper Russian food.

Three of us decided to visit Potemkin for coffee and a snack. Cappuccino and beers were good. We ordered two FlammKüchen one vegetarian, the other onion and bacon. Both. were excellent with just enough topping, and a thin, crispy biscuit-like base. As there were...only a few diners at lunchtime, service was very good. Other recent visits have orders for eggs, rissoles and FlammKuchen. All were of reasonable quality without being exceptional. Quantity was also very good. Russian restaurant and bar after the same name feature film Panzerkreuzter potemkin named, original Russian dips and of course wodka, located in a bullaugenambiente on victoria luise square in Berlin-Schöneberg. the waiters are very attentive and service-oriented, fast and friendly. the breakfast card in potemkin is really great, all freshly prepared! there is a great selection of Russian specialties that are really delicious. it is for every taste and in every price class something. in summer with terrace overlooking the green park. the potter is always worth a visit, especially at the woken a nice place to relax and let the souls baumeln.

In Schöneberg in Berlin is a most beautiful little park, Viktoria-Luise-Platz. It is named after Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia, the daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, and Great-Grand daughter of Queen Victoria. Around the place are at least different cafés/restaurants. Potemkin is...one of them. Potemkin has been running for years and I have been there for both breakfasts and dinners, when in Berlin. Menu has been interesting, with a few Russian dishes and many different breakfast offers. Unfortunately Potemkin is about to get ruined by its not very skilled and but very unfriendly evening staff. I was the first time in potemkin today and I was very pleasantly surprised. from far away it looks a little sweet, at least now in the cold season. there are chairs (with fleece corners and tables on the street, also folded sun umbrellas wait for the summer, but the terrace was weathered with thick transparent plastic plans. a smaller area than smoker area is separated. in the larger also cover in the basket chairs and also a fire speiender gas?( burner. this looks cozy, but there are too many chairs so placed that we prefer to go to the restaurant where they are not sitting in the way or being squeezed on the table. my accompaniment decided after an amused study of the many Russian speciali...
