"After being away from my hometown of Manchester for the past four years, I am still trying to discover all the new trends and restaurants that have emerged in my absence. Prezzo is a trendy chain restaurant that I had not heard of before I started traveling, but apparently they have quite a few locations in the UK now, including three in Manchester. So when I was invited to try out their new summer menu at the Deansgate location, I happily accepted and brought along my friend Scott as well."

Prezzo is a trendy chain restaurant that I hadn't heard of before my travels, but now they seem to have over 300 locations in Britain, including three in some areas. So when I was invited to try out the new summer menu at their restaurant on Deansgate, I eagerly accepted and brought Scott along with me.

"Sapporo is a full experience. The theatrical and culinary skills of the chefs make it interactive and humorous. Perfect for any age or occasion I use it when hosting family and friends due to it being rare. The menu can be a little confusing with a perception of what you order arrives in a form that you would not expect, I suggest that, if in doubt, ask a staff member, not always easy as they work fast and require an effort to stop."

"The restaurant offered a great selection of dishes, with the waitress helping us cater to individual tastes and food intolerances. The lamb's tongues were enjoyed by all for their soft and delicate texture. The bread was a real standout. We were able to share and taste a variety of dishes, including stews and meats that we all liked. The desserts were interesting, with the noodles with lemon and saffron being a refreshing standout. The saffron ice cream and pistachio pastry with honey were also enjoyed. The restaurant had a pleasant level of noise, allowing for conversations without being overheard. The exciting and varied menu has us looking forward to returning in the future. We would definitely go back when possible."

"Had such an amazing celebration here at the end of May, the staff were so attentive. I am personally not a huge fan of the cold food selection that is offered as part of the service but this does not take away from the experience overall. We had come to celebrate a birthday and the staff were able to bring over a birthday cake for this celebration as part of their service which was delightful. My favourite on this night for the butchers choice I believe but we could see that the staff were catering to others who do not eat meat rare to medium rare and rather choose to eat well done. very happy with the service provided by the staff. If you are looking for a suggestion on the sides plate the sweet potato and feta is delish, one of our favourites and the truffle fries are nice too! Thank you to everyone who served us!"

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"

"Although my order was really late (more than an hour) and the guy who made the delivery was a bit cranky and he gave my order to someone else instead of me and noone paid attention to the order instructions I've left about calling me upon arrival instead of knocking on the door, the food, Paid me off. Both quality of ingredients and taste were excellent, I think it is by far, the best Indian food I've ever tasted in Manchester, trully homemade. I'm not going to get into details because if I do so, it's gonna take too long. So, long story short. I will definitely eat from this place again no doubt."
