The food was terrible at this restaurant. The naan bread was burnt and the chicken in the curries was tough and had a terrible taste. This was my first time ordering food from here and it will definitely be my last.

consistently served the best tikka jalfrezi I have ever eaten! eating here is a good quality, comes in large quantities and is so delicious. my only sadness is that I don't think I'll find another Indian to destroy it!

amazing customer service! 15% discount when ordering via the website. my only handle is that eating was not so sharp, but that can be adjusted when they ask how we forgot it. eating is amazing though: give them 4 stars as in the rule when I have the same dishes from other restaurants that they are sharp.

Oily bland food that was barely edible. Ordered takeaway through deliveroo and when the food arrived the bag was drenched in oil and the containers were dripping with oil. Would never order again. Muttar paneer should not be sweet. All dishes lacked salt, seasoning and flavour. Would not recommend this place at all.

Ordered from Purbani on Saturday night. Busiest night of the week and during lockdown when everybody is staying in! Clearly under pressure but the young chap on the phone took time to repeat the order back to me. When we collected was all good and the food was terrific, not greasy like some, just really good food well cooked. Remember to ask for the discount when collecting. Would definitively recommend.

we had an excellent trip last night from purbani. I had heard many positive reports from friends who had traveled about the good nutrition. Well, it didn't disappoint at all. there were masses of choice with many interesting things we had never seen. eating was delicious and had not this disgusting fat layer that comes as standard on many takeaway curries. it felt almost like a healthy option! I didn't know that the current owner, miah, was the same beautiful chap that many Indian restaurants in guildford have heard and led for years. he obviously has a great love for detail and wants to please his customers. thanks for the excellent food. we will definitely return.

I've lived in Guildford for 20+ years and we have tried virtually every Indian takeaway in the area. I keep coming back to Purbani time after time for the following reasons: Reasonable prices and good value for money Friendly staff and decent service (although can be slow at peak times) They can make food seriously spicy if you ask them to Food is overall very good (perhaps not excellent, but close) Curries are not greasy or super oily Dedicated takeaway no eat in restaurant customers to compete with I would urge you to go and COLLECT IN PERSON since your food will be hotter, taste better and the resturant won't get shafted with massive fees from companies like Deliveroo/Uber Eats keep these...
