We waited so long for the meal our stomachs thought our throats had been cut when the meal eventually arrived our stomachs wished our throats had been cut as the food was dreadful.

Came here for the first time for food yesterday evening. Amazing food and service. The lasagne was homemade, tasty and piping hot! Also had the fully loaded burger brilliant portion sizes. Excellent value for money. Will defo be returning!

I absolutely loved this pub for many reasons. It was clean, served great food, had excellent facilities for children, and most importantly, had amazing staff. Great to see food is now back here. From Steve's stack to lovely veggie options including home made Lasagne to Mozzarella burgers and good vfm. Dogs are welcome inside and out and the staff are friendly. Extensive garden and children's play area. Steve and Bev are always happy to welcome existing and new customers

Our group of 8 received a warm welcome when we visited this restaurant. We found a wonderful spot in the spacious beer garden, which also had a fantastic play area for children. The landlady went above and beyond by offering ice pops to the kids on a hot sunny day. Our lunches were all served hot and freshly made, and at very reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning soon.

Just passing through Tamworth and checked this pub out for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food is very good. We had the sirloin steak, médium rare. All freshly cooked to taste and beautifully presented. We were the only ones eating for some reason though. Most others were drinking and watching the football or cricket on one of three TV screens. From the initial meeting at the bar the young lady who served us was both efficient and friendly, there were other customers before us and she took the time to welcome us. Our order was dealt with quickly and the food arrived within 20 minutes the food was of a good quality and was hot and served with a smile it was also very good value for money I would definitely return if I was in the area again thankyou to all.

We were unfamiliar with the area and had to choose a meeting place on a whim. Upon seeing the menu prices, we realized that dining here wouldn't break the bank. While waiting for our American extended family members to arrive, we decided to explore the pub. The locals in the lounge were friendly and spoke highly of the food. Encouraged by their reviews, we decided to give the place a chance. Our visit exceeded our expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. - Meredith Nottingham.

Having served in the Army, Fire Brigade and finally the Police it is no small wonder that eighteen months ago I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD and part of my treatment is to do things that make me happy. So I went to the Warley International Model Railway show at the NEC Centre weekend of the 26 and 27th November 2022.
