Rado Plage - Menu

One of the favourite places in Cannes. Nice restaurant on the beach open daily from morning till afternoon, unfortunately not at night. The breakfast was really good, fresh orange juice, croissant, eggs and pastries. Bit expensive.

What could be better than a fantastic lunch sitting in the sun on the beach New years day?Always welcomed back from all the friendly staff and proprieter.This place is beautiful any time of the year.Excellant service and great food!!

We visited Rado on a warm New Year's eve and sat outside on the beach, sand in our toes! The location is unbeatable and was matched by incredibly happy friendly staff (who spoke perfect English, French and Italian it seemed!) and memorably good food. The scallop risotto I can still taste and wish I was back there now

I was expecting a very good restaurant given the trip advisor reviews, but it was just average. The food was okay and quite expensive. We had good wine. The location on the beach is nice and the service was top-notch: very friendly. I don't have experience with other beach restaurants in Cannes but in terms of quality/price ratio, it was very average.

I have been going to this family run Beach and restaurant for seventeen years! Started by Olivier's father in 1958, this is the longest running private beach restaurant on the Croisette. Always welcoming and friendly. The service is great and the food is delightful and constantly changing with interesting dishes. The location is perfect for exploring Cannes. Most of the staff have been with Olivier for years and is a testament to the relaxed and attentive atmosphere of the Rado.

This year we mark six years since we come to Cannes and each time we go to Rado Plage. Primarily for the hospitality staff but not least for the quality of services. We tested all services from the beach to evenings dancing and fireworks dinner and all are performed to high standards. We always have served great lunches and dinners at this restaurant with no exception! For us it is like a second home. Surely we will return with pleasure to RADO. During our trip to Cannes, our driver, a local from Cannes, made a reservation for lunch at Rado Plage. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and our had our choice of several tables (In the Sun or in the Shade). I had a great Salad and an Aperol Spritz. I don't know exactly what they did differently with the Spritz, but it was one of the best ones I had. It might have been that i just on the beach in Cannes and what could be better, n'est–ce pas? My wife and I both agreed that this would be the spot to see and be seen during Festival week.

We visit Rado on every trip to the Riviera and always combine lunch with the sunbeds and spend the afternoon enjoying the beautiful uninterrupted view of the Bay of Cannes. The food, as always , is lovely. I tried one of their new items on the menus which looked like the usual kind of wrap, but was delicious with a slightly curried Tuna filling. It was lovely and light and just the thing for then lying about all afternoon. Stefan organised our beds on the beach and Guy was as attentive as ever. Unfortunately, We missed Olivier the owner but he would have been smiling and as gracious as ever. Our favourite restaurant on the Cote D'Azure. A bientot.

I have reviewed Rado previously but thought it worth an update. They have had a new chef for a little while and he is even better than the one before. The food is still exquisite, the service still impeccable and the friendliness delightful. While I still heartily recommend the loup the chef has now had the confidence to make the menu his own and one item he does is Fish and Chips. This is the best Fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life, and having a local one where I live in the UK which is hugely praised, I think I know what I am talking about.Truly amazing batter and the homemade Tartare sauce was delicious.
