"Heaven is a place in Portrush the Ramore really is one of my favourite places on the planet. The food is so good that it really is difficult to get across the mouth wateringness of this place in words! And the portions, the huge fabulous portions are just perfect for a glutton like me. Where to start when describing the menu? Think juicy grilled meats and fish, calorie loaded but oh so good sauces and the miracle that is tobacco onions think spirals of onion coated in something delish and then deep fried to perfection. Oh, did I mention that you REALLY need to leave all awareness and thoughts of counting calories or fat grams at the door. I always order the chilli fillet steak in pitta bread with sour cream and chilli potato skins with a side order of salad. Even the salad is exceptional. No limp lettuce in the Ramore, this salad has things like marinated mushrooms, baby onions in balsamic vinegar and roasted red peppers going on. The desserts are the stuff of your dreams. One is called St Honore and has to be seen to be believed a rocky road base, home made honeycome, a huge profiterole at a jaunty angle on the side and a whole cow's worth of cream. The Ramore is always jammed which is a testament to how good it is and creates a very buzzy vibe but means that you sometimes have to wait for a table. Take consolation from the fact that you can stare at the desserts in the chiller while you wait! There are lots of fab quirky touches like tap water served in wine bottles which the kids will love. Ask for a table overlooking the harbour and you'll have a great view while you load up and then roll out the door for a walk by the sea afterwards."

We are here at the beginning of our trip and ended our trip here also. Loved all the flavors in the food. Service good. You'll need to book and chose a seat by the window if you can.

The restaurant is popular the location is gorgeous and the service is great. Sadly with only 2 vegetarian options a so called 'large ' house salad (which was incredibly disappointing) or a goats cheese bruschetta I doubt I 'll be able to return which is a shame as its a really nice relaxed place.

Over priced, loud (music, conversations, children screaming at 9pm), no wait staff, order at counter like McDonald's. Beef Wellington was decent, but too spendy and not cooked per the Medium Rare order request. Champ was boring, tasted like instant (powdered) potatoes. Salad was tiny. First time at a Ramore restaurant and likely the last time.

My food experience was quite different than my wife's. I had the T-bone. It was a good size and cooked medium rare as ordered. The problem I had was the pepper sauce got to be overwhelming about halfway through. That and the place was baking hot inside. And no Guinness on tap. My wife ordered the seafood tureen. We ate a lot of seafood and chowders this trip and she claims this one up near the top. So a bit of a split decision on this one.

My favourite NI restaurant ever. Part of the Ramore complex of restaurants, you'll always find a queue here at the Wine Bar and rightly so. Order at the bar and grab your own cutlery before waiting for your meal to come out. I always order the peppered rump steak with tobacco onions and pepper cream sauce despite the fact that I keep telling myself I'll be more adventurous next time I go. I just can't stray from my favourite choice! The rump steak is full of flavour and there's zero fat, whilst the pepper cream sauce is creamy (obviously) and the tobacco onions are the best I've had. I love the busy atmosphere and the stunning views of Portrush Harbour too.

Fab place. Food is good quality and cheap. The venue is run like a well oiled machine. There are lots of staff and they are fast at serving. Deserts are disappointing especially because the mains and the rest of the food are so nice. You have to wait in a queue outside to get in. Although if you are at the front you will be inside or under cover. I am never sure what time this place opens.the times always seem to change. Says one thing online and a different when you get there. Was there on a Friday and doors open at 5pm. God time to que is about 4.30pm. There are lots of seats to fit a good crowd in the place. Most people seem to order burgers. The pasta looks to be the most disappointing t...

My friends talked this place up all day, and they were so right about it! We had a dinner reservation and all ten of us were seated right away. The atmosphere was very fun and young, yet classy with a hint of sophisticated. We all got drinks and were quick to order our meals. I had the harbour burger and WOW it was great. The meat was cooked very well and was perfectly juicy. The tobacco onions and pepper cream were perfect. I could give the pepper cream sauce a five star review even if it stood alone. They say the desert bar is where it's at. I ended up selecting one desert and it was fine. I can't recall exactly what I had but it was a large slice and although I was full I kept on eating....

My girlfriend and I stopped here for a late lunch on our road trip of Northern Ireland. It was recommended to us by our B&B host and it did not disappoint. It has an interesting layout overlooking the harbour. The place is a cross between a gastropub and a family restaurant. A large, open space with plenty of seating space, a medium sized bar where you order from and the attention grabbing cake counter/display that will tempt even those who always choose the savoury option! The crowd is mostly local families, lots of kids running around. But honestly, the food is so good and the staff are so friendly that everyone is just so happy. I had a beautiful grilled salmon on a bed of mixed fresh sal...
