"Visited here with a few family members, overall ice cream was good but the standard of service was very poor making the Morelli’s experience disappointing. I’m assuming the lady with the blond hair, wearing no uniform (apron) or hair net, walking about with keys hanging from her (displaying a safe key); “isn’t very security conscious”, is the manager/supervisor; not customer orientated in the slightest. I felt when asking her about the flavours she was annoyed and had no patience and just wanted me out of the “road”. I imagine that customer service isn’t at the fore front of this business as they get the footfall anyway and don’t have to provide any level of service, shame really as I remember visiting the “old Morelli’s” back in the day during the 80’s, it was a very personal place then. However the ice cream was good just the service let the experience down."

Great choice in both flavours and hard and soft ice cream but prices have upturned since last summer!

Fish and chips were very tasty. Nice that you can choose beans rather than peas. Good to have the job. Was very busy but staff were very pleasant and would certainly go back. Visualizza piatti

great place on the promenade. good number of seats for groups, good take-away section as well as if they just passed. the personal is always very friendly. ice, tray beans, coffee always very good. everything is also quality.

Joined a long queue outside premises for hot food and only discovered when we got to the top of it that they were serving ice cream only after 6. Other families turned away also. Be a much better idea to have a sign outside to explain.

excellent ice, sometimes can be a bit overpriced, but some beautiful aromen. I really appreciate the “Maltesian” Maltese taste. if they really feel the sunflowers to splug are divine, but very expensive, though you are enough to share for two when they feel inclined! Visualizza piatti

I remember having this egg as a child 30 years ago and it tasted as good then as it does now. the sitting experience I would not do more than I felt hastily to make a decision and to get to all the ices I had baked, while an order farther up on the line. The take-off part they stood right next to the ice and the choice would be easy.

visited a few times during the jubiläums bank holiday. the cooked breakfast was presented very well, all fresh ingredients and very tasty. my only observation was that they had to order at the theke (we were the only ones there) and had to help us to provide at least table service, they have enough personal on a shelf rack near theke. the ice here is sublime, neat old fashion eis with looked very tasty made.

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
