We booked a table for on Saturday evening just one hour before dinner. Luckily we got a table. It was next to the entrance door, but was ok if you think that we booked just before our night out. The staff was friendly. We...ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes. As a starter we got a salad. Was quite good salad actually. The Schnitzel was tasty, very tender and no hard bits at all. The restaurant was busy. We enjoyed our dinner there. I would recommend the place for German food.

We went there without reservation on a Friday night. It was full. After a few minutes of waiting, we were seated. so I would recommend you make a reservation. My husband is German, they communicated in German, but as I understand, the waiting staff was...very friendly and helpful. And fast too! I got schnitzel and my husband got steak. We shared garlic shrimp appetizer. They were all so delicious! And the portions were big for European standards. We had a few Kolsch with our meals and printen liquor as digestive. I would definitely recommend this place.

We booked this restaurant well in advance of our visit to Aachen as it looked very authentic and had great reviews. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the very tall barman who I think was probably the ownermanager? We were soon seated by our...waitress and both decided on schnitzels with potatoes and a stein of lovely lager. The waitress then bought us out gorgeous bowls of salad which apparently you get with whatever you order......bonus! Our schnitzels were both amazing and melt in your mouth, not at all dry as they can be in some restaurants as were the potatoes.
