"5 people went to this pub as one of the group likes IPA which apparently Fullers usually have. Disappointingly they didn't have IPA for our visit. We all had Pizza which apparently comes from the next door restaurant and it was very good. Those of...us who had a glass of wine (250 ml) were charged £10.70 plus 10% service charge. Usually pay less in the West End of London. So the Pizza was £7.95 and the glass of Pub white wine (description on receipt) was £10.70 and total bill for one £20.52. The person who had a splash of soda in her wine paid about £22 I think the Pizza was worth much more than the wine. We moved on to somewhere where wine wasn't so expensive. Covid protocols strictly in place. If you cant download the app you have to log in to a website at the door before entry and add your details. Not sure what happens if you don't have a mobile phone"

We ordered pizza a couple of times now. Great taste, superior ingredients. It is a real Italian pizza (from south of Italy)

The restaurant had loud music and a terrible smell near the tables by the toilets. A rat was even running around while we were dining. Overall, there was no beautiful atmosphere at this restaurant.

The pizza is (as usually) very good. But the waiters didn't wear a masks. I think the management should ask waiters to wear a mask, as a sign of respect towards customers and to show they take care of their employees. Others restaurants and pizzerias...in Ealing do it.

we came as a group of friends for some drinks and pizza, can't blame anything about the evening! the garden was illuminated with fairy-tale lights and had a great atmosphere, heating and even a dj that plays crisp melodies. pizza was 10/10 (also,) it was a Thursday, but we couldn't get home. bester pub in ealing for me!

Last weekend (evening of 20th August) I rang The Red Lion to try to get a message to my brother who was meeting friends there. I had a medical emergency and had tried to reach him by other means without success. I explained this to...a member of the Red Lion staff who told me he was too busy' to find my brother to pass on the message and put the phone down. It took 5 attempts to try to get through to him the urgency the situation. He hung up mid conversation each time (whilst I became progressively more upset), until finally a far more reasonable woman answered and got a message to my brother. Whoever that staff member was who repeatedly refused to help a person in a crisis needs some seriou...

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
