"Good morning, We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The waitress (a blonde woman) was particularly inhospitable and surly with us, annoyed by the slightest question and the slightest desire, so much so that we got up from the table and left without eating. The limit had been largely crossed. When you don't like customer relations, it's better to change jobs. We had come with a severely disabled person to have a good time with family, not to be treated like this. You have therefore lost 4 Bullois customers. I hope that the management of the establishment will take note of this opinion. Sincerely."

If you 're looking for cheese fondue in Gruyeres (why else would you go there? and you 're on a budget, La Croix Blanche serves up a tasty solution for less than the tourist traps in the old town.. This is my first time going there, but certainly not the last! Nice modern setting, friendly and warm welcome... Their specialty is pierrades with different meats to choose from (beef, chevak, lamb, pork ... These are of quality and copiously served, accompanied by excellent fries (or other? and small seasonal vegetables. I highly recommend this establishment!

Stopped by on a wet public holiday Monday in May and they were fortunately still open and serving all afternoon. There were 8 of us with no reservation, but no issue. Menu was extensive and kept 4 kids and 4 adults. Colourings and pencils for...the kids were provided. Highlight was steak served on sizzling stone block. Fondue was good. Gruyere meringue dessert with local cream also great. Plus local artisan beer. Good value at 105chf too (for Switzerland).
