"We visited O Bistro using google map on a cost while walking Canal du Midi. With no expectations we were delighted with the warm friendly ambience, the contemporary decor and fantastic service. We enjoyed a perfect balance, facilitating my husband’s curiosity on Cassoulet with my own appetite for something lighter more heart healthy. His cassoulet was ample , unctuous and meaty while enjoyed a seafood salad which was artistically presented with almost a Caribbean feel and zinging with flavour. Local wines were great. We did have desserts with one crepe and a selection of ice creams- faultless. Very pleasant music. If I lived nearby this would be a favourite."

"A calm summer night, good company, choosing a restaurant on the port, we took our seats at Brasserie la Cybele soon to be squeezed in so our disabled friend could not even get out from around the table.The gambas were not so fresh - the persillade sauce was full of prawn feelers and tasted like prawn heads, the rice was heavy and tasteless. My friends opted for the filet mignon de porc but found their fries were frozen fries, not fresh, the onion confiture was chunky and unpleasant, the salads were under-dressed with over ripe tasteless squares of tomato tossed in.Asking for salt and pepper, more water, more dressing met with delays and then our plates were not cleared. The staff were like cafe servers, no frills.A horrible experience and for €15 one could do a lot better. It's one solid attribute is being on the water's edge but the place is like a cafe."

"visiting the southwest we booked in this restaurant and we were not disappointed. In addition to the fact that the cassoulet is really good, we note that we feel that the boss loves (and knows) his job. We were well advised: we were going to take each one a cassoulet with the 2 confits, and we were alerted that it was hearty and that we had to have very big appetite. We were advised to take one and complete it with a normal, it's serious! and we didn't regret it, far from there. Thanks.And the desserts are not in the rest: the royal ... mmmmm a delight.All in a quiet, unbrouhaha, and intimate atmosphere.We recommend."

"passing through the city, we wanted to eat a good cassoulet and saw its rating this restaurant seemed all indicated. a parking lot with enough space for cars is a good start, then a smiling person at the reception and the fatty question falls: "Have you reserved?". . . .arghhh no, but the gods of gastronomy had to be with us because there was just a table!!So a tip: think to book! The entrance is a pure marvel and the sumptuous cassoulet that it would largely suffice on its own!Blessed a welcoming, smiling staff of good humor and mood; a very pleasant setting, and a kitchen. . . . really sublime. We even have the right to leave with the secret of preparation: time, simplicity and good homemade products, simple! Anyway, thank you for this moment of delight."
