Revolution Old Town

A great night out, good cocktails, good food and helpful and attentive staff. Thanks to Sean for his help with our booking and making sure we had everything organised and ready for us just to turn up and enjoy.

Christian the bartender could not be more helpful and pleasant! My cousin was over from the USA and he went through the drinks menu with us and helped us with great places to go in the city. He makes the best frozen margaritas too!

My wonderful sister reserved a table for us on my bachelorette party night. The music was fantastic, and the drinks were plentiful. We spent most of the night dancing! Be prepared to wait about half an hour to use the restroom. The service was quick, and they even gave us a shout out.

Popped in for a cocktail between Fringe shows. I chose Pina Colada. I definitely wasn’t! Bartender swore it was. Never in my lifetime have I had one that had no rum, no coconut flavour, no pineapple taste and was a pale pink/orange colour. My companion said their Long Island Tea was like flat coke and ice. This doesn’t represent Revolution in other cities.

Went for hen party, pre ordered food to be told not available but no alternatives when we arrived ipad not working didnt know where we were going couldnt fault the girl (pheobe) behind the bar for master class, food was rubbish 1 still waiting on food after eceryone else had finished absolutely terrible and wont recomend to anyone few other parties in here still waiting on food after 3 hours

During a recent bachelorette party in Edinburgh, our group participated in a cocktail master class at Revolution. We had an amazing time and our instructor, Lilleth, was absolutely fantastic. She made the class so much fun and the bride-to-be had a blast. This was definitely one of the best cocktail master classes I've ever experienced, and I've done quite a few over the years. I would highly recommend it.

We were here yesterday a hen party of 14, food was pre ordered , you would imagine no delay !…. Drinks took an age to come some are still waiting!!! Food was stone cold had although a salad was hot as in the amount of chilli through it. Staff were dreadful training is definitely needed , they didn’t want to be bothered at all no customer service skills . We left with only a very sour taste . Extremely disappointed!

Stumbled upon this place during happy hour and what I find it was! I was not even aware that it was happy hour and was stunned when we received our bill and the incredible cocktails we enjoyed were only 6 pounds each? The Gin and Juice cocktail was hands-down my favorite. My spouse tried several cocktails and enjoyed then all. The presentation of the cocktails are inventive and expertly crafted. Loved, loved, loved this bar!

Went to this place today. Ordered pizza none left order chicken cabab nope order 3 lemonades 2 arrived waited over 30 min for the 3rd waited an hour for order of food Both burgers where stone cold and raw in the middle only 2 of the 3 starters arrived as well told 25 min for the 3rd. staff where completely hopeless and disappear after you put your order in takes 5 of them to take order from the lift that gos to kitchen to your table . The only saving grace was that they took everything off our bill after completing. For a Saturday when the festival is on as well as the rugby the service was shocking and we ware not the only ones as other tables left without food they orders too
