We have just had a wonderful experience here. Food was delicious (we had the surf and turf sharer). Staff were all so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. At the end of our meal my partner decided he'd like some bread. We asked and were told the ovens had just been switched off, but to our surprise the oven was put back on to bake our bread. There are not many restaurants that go above and beyond like this. We will definitely be back soon. Top notch food and service The fish and chips are great, had them to take away and was impressed so went and had eat in a few days later. Eat in is a scaled up version (big portion) with home made mushy peas and tartare sauce. The chips on both events where of a different type and not home made however tasty and plentiful nevertheless. If you’re a mussel fan, order them for starters and there’s enough to share. What did it for me though was the super efficient and professional service by the front of house team.
