"Gasthof Riedsee has a great location on the edge of Mohringen-Nord; on a nice day you could sit outside overlooking a pond and woods, with farm fields beyond that. It was a bit chilly for our visit though, so we sat inside the charming little restaurant. The service was perfectly friendly, and the main waiter spoke enough english to make it work. Unfortunately they didn't have menus printed in english, but the menu on the website is pretty much up to date, and can easily be translated by Google beforehand (which is what we did). Unfortunately none of us were feeling very adventurous, so pretty much everybody had and enjoyed the schnitzel, although the people who tried the pork cheek and the perch-pike (zander) filet both polished them off happily as well. All in all a nice place for a meal, just make sure you translate the online menu before you go (unless you speak German of course)!Also worth noting; they have a decent little parking lot with about two dozen spaces, which is rare for restaurants in Mohringen from what I can tell."
