"In the middle of an otherwise busy work week I had the gift of a free Wednesday afternoon, so Madame and I ventured out in search of lunch, and of a culinary change of pace. Pizza! Why not? We read a few good things about Pierino and, with the help of our GPS, found it right in the center of Traiskirchen with no problems. The establishment is a big, roomy part of an even larger structure; at 2PM on a weekday there were still a number of diners present, but we were seated immediately. While the menu doesn't explicitly say so, the pizzas are offered in large and small sizes, and we went for two of the latter the Pierino Hauspizza for madame (lots of toppings and a salami pizza for me. Both arrived quickly, and were hot and delicious. The thin crust was very well turned out, and toppings were generous without being excessive. A shared side salad, a few glasses of wine, and coffee (and, umm, a little Hazelnut Schnapps...shhh... finished off a really satisfying and inexpensive lunch. I'd recommend the place, and its pizza choices, to anyone Parking is available directly across the street in a good sized open lot by a church. You can have ninety minutes' free parking if you display one of those clock type gadgets that allow you to indicate your arrival time by setting the hand on the dial. I've had several of those over the years but didn't have one with me; our friendly waiter told me I could just go over the the Tabak, next door, and get one I think it cost E1,80, which is a bargain compared to getting a ticket. We came very close to coming back for dinner on another night during the week, and in a way I wish we had, because a full Italian (as well as Austrian menu is on offer. I've got to check out their lasagne... We'll be sure to stop in when/if we're in the area again"

order usually to the office, pizzas are good, seafood could contain more seafood, good favorit the calzone, well occupied and very tasteful.

2 menus to choose from, one of them vegetarian often also full food, at a good price, always very tasty, friendly staff, in summer nice terrace, pizza also recommended

at the picata milanese the chef has forgotten the salt, the spare ribs were questionable from the meat quality, the salamipizza triefte in front of fat. well, we would be tired even if it was truly not a highlight.

was here for lunch with business friends. tageskarte offers 2 eating and extensive map with Italian touch. eating was inexpensive, but that was then also. at least the dessert was nice and good. pure emergency to not starve

fantastic eating for me, but also perfect as I order in the regular the same food as a cozy ordinary person. the taste was well held for a decade at the top (although I can only speak for me because taste is known to be different) price performance is also fantastic.

my description refers to the ristorante pierino, at the main square in traiskirchen. I like the clear map with a mix of pasta and pizza dishes, seasonal offers and very attentive service. Interestingly, the air in the smoking area is better, in the non-smoking it smells like sweat and pizza oven.

again after approx. 20 years and positiw surprised. very friendly and attentive waiter. the most important foods have tasted us both well. the local and the sitting corner was cozy and cuddly. we probably go back there. the point of critique would probably be that the brand participant with top was unfortunately not a real top of the beat, but from the spits would have been nice if this were not so. Let's see what we'll try next time.
