Have now used this Fish and Chippy several timesThe staff are excellent and the product they serve is equally so.

Ordered through website and although order was put down to come within 1 hour it came late. No communication to let us know it was going to be very late

I cannot believe the bad reviews we had fish and chips as well as battered sausages a large order for 10 people and it was delicious. Absolute chaos front of house ! Been supporting this business for over 40 years Getting really fed up of on line orders taking priory over people who come in person Waited 35 mins outside and inside the shop to order and pick up simple fish and chip order on the way home from work! will get in the car and go elsewhere next time would get food quicker really disappointing

Placed an order online at 7pm, order arrived at 8.20pm. It was wrong. Missing pie, phoned them, was eventually told i need to take my missing item up with delver roo driver. Then opened the box to which should have had 2 medium cod in it, 1 looked like a battered sausage. Large and regular chips look the same size but very different price.Won't be using Robinson's EVER again. Only reason I'm giving 1 star is because I have to

Following an unusually 'not as good as normal ' experience with a takeaway one week, I fed back to the outlet why I was not happy. It was taken seriously and I was emailed with an apology and a comment regarding a trainee server who was still learning her trade. On being invited to come back and give them another chance, I was delighted to see that standards were back to normal (in fact better than normal). Food was piping hot, batter was light and not greasy; chips were crisp and fluffy. Great meal Thank You. Visualizza piatti

CHIPS WITH CURRY SAUCE Used this Chippy regularly over the years but not recently except for one time in recent years when I did a review on here and it was plain awful. So thought give it another try around lunch time when it would I thought be busier and hopefully OK. But not busy and not OK ie chips barely warm and not at all nice and curry sauce hot but virtually tasteless except for maybe the slightest hint of curry. Given the vast choice of takeaways locally and even up their street I really cannot understand how they can run a business and just cannot be bothered.

The shop looks extremely scruffy and the staff don’t seem to have a professional attitude particularly to hygiene in that in the 10 minutes I was there I saw all 4 of them touching their untidy ,uncovered hair and their faces without subsequently washing their hands. My online order had clearly been overlooked but no apology .One of the staff was sorting out tired looking salad and garnishes in very unimpressive looking plastic containers using her ungloved hands which she definitely hadn’t washed. This place must be trading on its name because it has nothing that makes me want to visit it again and appears to be unapologetically sloppy in every respect.

Worst fish and chips ever . Actually thought they had given us 2 sausages instead of fish as resembled a long fish finger sausage type shape . Definitely not a piece of fish , must have been formed and made into this shape . Simple long piece of batter with small amount of fish in it . Batter wasn’t crisp just wet sludgy texture Vegan burger was equally awful and resembled an undercooked piece of meet in a bun with no extras except a small bag of salad on the side . No sauces , no nothing just a dry burger in bun Food was inedible so ended up paying £44 to eat chips ! Will never be going back again as it was the worst takeaway I think we’ve ever had , if I could give zero stars I would Visualizza piatti
