"Während meines Urlaubs in Bayrischzell vor drei Wochen hat mich eine Freundin, die das Bella Calabria zur guten Einkehr bereits kannte, dorthin geführt – und ich bin so froh darüber! Dieses italienische Restaurant hat mich wirklich begeistert. Das Essen war einfach köstlich, die Portionen genau richtig, und die Terrasse bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick, der das Genusserlebnis perfekt abrundet. Ich war während meines Aufenthalts dreimal hier mit meinem Hund, und ich muss sagen, die Gastfreundschaft war außergewöhnlich. Trotz des Maulkorbs wurde mein Hund herzlich willkommen geheißen und wir wurden sogar an einen ruhigeren Tisch gesetzt, damit er sich entspannen konnte, während wir das Essen genossen haben. Als jemand, der gerne neue Gerichte ausprobiert, habe ich die freundliche und geduldige Art des Personals sehr geschätzt. Alle meine Fragen zu den Gerichten wurden ausführlich beantwortet, und ich habe jedes Mal etwas Neues entdeckt, das meinen Gaumen erfreut hat. Auch das Reservieren – wichtig für uns Hundebesitzer – war absolut unkompliziert und lief reibungslos. Vielen Dank an das Team für das leckere Essen und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft! Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem ans Herz legen, der in Bayern Lust auf authentische italienische Küche hat. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und werde es auch gerne weiterempfehlen!"

"Stopped here for supper. Unfortunately no English menu and no one to translate so it was a bit pot luck. I ended up with a fish in sauce with rice and a salad. My husband had the schnitzel which came with fried potatoes. Dessert was the coup there a fete for two - a large ice cream, fresh fruit and cream concoction. Very tasty. Service was good. There was live music and a good atmosphere with what seemed to be mostly locals. Worth a visit."

"General occasion: My favourite restaurant is Café Huber in Bayrischzell. Unfortunately, we rarely come here. An occasion was just before Christmas when we wanted to go with friends to eat well. The place is hidden in the second row, not far from the station. It looks like a café from outside. If you enter, you will be in the bakery's storeroom, which does not suggest how good you can eat here. I had the opportunity to cook with Thorsten Hopp in his kitchen. The man is crazy! He was the head of a large company in Baden-Baden and is independent here in the rear corner of Bavaria. In his kitchen there is practically no waste and the residual heat is still used. It places great emphasis on fresh regional products. The food has the highest quality and is freshly prepared á la minute (nearest kitchen from 6 pm) Menu Ambience: for the ambience of the guest room. The exterior of the house and the shop at the entrance must be overcome. Then you will find yourself in a pleasant room on two levels. The walls are white and painted with floral motifs. Above is a beautiful wooden construction, which together with the spout windows and the terracotta floor gives the room a rural touch. The equipment is complemented with benches, tables and chairs. The tables are usually covered with white runners. There are heavy slate plates as place sets, good material-served, perfect plates and glasses. In front of the guest room there is a sunny south terrace, from which you can enjoy the surrounding mountains. A large hall is also available for celebrations. The menu included very tempting dishes at local prices. It annoys me every time I can't taste everything. Some of the dishes remind me of things I ate with my mother. For this we were always offered a beautiful wine. The homepage with the photos in the gallery gives a first good impression. Service Welcome: for a very pleasant and exemplary service by Chef Christina Löwe and another service. The service would also be a star restaurant. Food drink: for cooking Mr Hopp, which cooks everything fresh and does not use preservatives or flavor enhancers. Shortly before Christmas I was after a part of the geese with blue herbs and dumplings (22.50 €). Previously there was a surprising winter hugo (3,20 € as aperitif, a greeting from the kitchen and a pumpkin cream soup (6,50 €). The food tasted really good, was an eye-catcher and was so plentiful that we had to give up the dessert painfully. In addition, the large bottle still mineral water from Adelholzner (4.20 0.75l) Cleanliness WC: There was nothing to complain. Conclusion Price performance: for a super performance at human prices. The restaurant is open from 10 am to 10 pm. The time should be used to buy very good homemade pastries, pasta, jam, etc., to make day bread, to enjoy coffee and cakes or to sneak properly in the evening. I look forward to my next visit!"

"Ich habe spontan vor 2 Wochen noch eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Bayrischzell gesucht und bin durch Glück im Hotel Alpenrose abends noch untergekommen. Ich finde das Hotel von außen schon wunderschön anzusehen und es ist sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr gepflegt und sauber, in dem großen bequemen Bett habe ich wunderbar geschlafen und der kleine Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge war atemberaubend schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, alles ist frisch und superlecker. Das Highlight sind für mich jedoch die Mitarbeiter gewesen, die mit viel Herz, Freundlichkeit, immer einem Lächeln auf den Lippen, Kompetenz und Qualität meinen Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis gemacht haben. In diesem Hotel passt für mich einfach das Komplettpaket, alle Abteilungen sind wunderbar miteinander eingespielt und sie sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Herzlichen Dank für diesen, leider viel zu kurzen Aufenthalt, ich komme sehr gerne wieder."

"Wir waren gestern zum zweiten Mal in der Maierei. Sie liegt etwas versteckt in dem kleinen Dörfchen Osterhofen. Schon von weitem leuchtete uns das Lokal einladend entgegen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Karte ist nicht riesig und das ist auch gut so! Es gibt Gerichte, die man woanders lange suchen muss. Ich hatte gestern Kärntner Nudeln mit Selchfleisch gefüllte Nudeln auf Sauerkraut. Köstlich! Auch die Pinsa (eine Art Pizza, aber mit einem sensationellen Teig) war prima. Jedes mal gab es zudem ein kleines Schmankerl zum probieren, denn der Chef bzw die Crew möchte die Kunden begeistern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."
