Roundhay Pizza Express

Roundhay's Pizza Express is typical of this chain; pizza with a friendly face. I've visited this PE a number of times now, and not had a bad visit. The staff are, on the whole, pretty friendly. I would happily return to this branch of Pizza Express.

Nipped in for an after work treat for the family on a Monday night, food as ever was awesome! Service was exceptional, staff very friendly and great with the kids, even got to make their own little pizza which chef cooked and delivered to the table! Highly recommend this place

Eaten at Pizza Express many times,but first visit to this one. On arrival at 8pm on a Monday evening the restaurant was quite full. Had usual starters and pizzas which we very good.Added bonus can use my meercat 2 for 1 card here.Bill including 2 bottles of Peroni came to £28,great value. Visualizza piatti

The service at this restaurant was very poor. The waiter brought us dirty plates and insisted they were clean. There was no apology for the mistake. When I requested tap water, they ignored me as if they couldn't hear me. We waited an hour for our pizza, which is unacceptable. The staff's attitude was unprofessional. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We went for my Grandson’s 7th Birthday for dinner. I found the service extremely poor and the waiter was unsure of offers that were ongoing by Pizza Express. My salad had items missing, my son’s pizza was soggy and not cooked properly. The Manageress was quite condescending which as a customer I am not used to. It put a dampener on my Grandson’s Birthday. I would NOT recommend it here.

Ate here on 9th November which was a Tuesday evening. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout the meal. We ordered 4 meals which was 3 different pizzas and a calzone. The food arrived reasonably quickly and all I can say was that at the end of the meal there were 4 empty plates! I used to dine at this restaurant frequently and always enjoyed the amazing food. However, now that I am disabled and unable to go in person, I have had to resort to delivery. Unfortunately, this has been a disappointing experience, as the dishes often come missing key ingredients, resulting in a lack of flavor. Even when adding extras to my pizza, they are either missing altogether or only a few pieces are included. It seems that since I am unable to dine in at the restaurant, I am only receiving subpar food. I am truly disappointed.

I normally write good reviews about this place. We come here as a family with 2 young boys about once a month. We always come on the same day at same time. The kids always get to make their own pizza and that’s why they beg us to come here otherwise we would go to somewhere better. Yesterday we got there and ‘management’ decided they were too busy for kids to make their own pizzas. Sad kids, frustrated parents, all round poor experience. The staff were apologetic but that doesn’t really cheer kids up. Will think twice before coming again.

My family and I went to this restaurant for a Mother's Day meal, consisting of 3 adults and 3 children. The waitstaff is supposed to inquire about any allergies in the party, but unfortunately they did not ask us. This was concerning as my granddaughter has a lactose allergy, and not being informed could have led to a serious issue. The service was slow, the food was mediocre, which was disappointing compared to a positive experience we had a few years ago. One of the pizzas my son ordered came with raw mushrooms instead of cooked ones. We ended up spending about 2 and a half hours there due to the slow service, despite the restaurant not being busy.
