"had a nice Sunday dinner today, which would be hard to beat. can highly recommend it was delicious. beef tender as they would like, roast and maic carrots, yorkshire pud, carrots and swedes maic, brok, cauliflower cheese and red cabbage with correct gravy, generous plate of food and seasoned perfectly. very good value for £11.95. the waitress was beautiful and very attentive. thank you. beware for a pleasant experience..Didn do not have space for pudding! mn"

really nice event. great decoration through. a lot of choice of drinks especially wine. I had a whisper while I was there and was really delicious.

the food was here. I had the daily special steak, stylton and mushroom pie and a friend of mine had the smoked haddock! also for dessert birne and ingwer crumb .. the upper floor is really cozy. really recommended

no longer is it agitated, its bailey’s and a huge restaurant it is also. I had the buffalo steak in pfefferminz and it was delicious. I was with a party of thirteen and the service was efficient and the staff pleasant.

Coming from France this place was just on par! The servings were literally humongous and the Sunday roast was a killer! Dog friendly place that had treats and water, staff was friendly, quick and loved what they were doing. I will be back!

we booked a table at the top. we found the personal very pleasant and welcoming. that was delicious. it was Curry Night. the curry included a drink and was £8.50 we also ordered a warm makrelensalat, which was super delicious. the house can't blame!

excellent meal and beautiful service in a relaxed environment. easy problem with too much pfeffer on our food that has been treated professionally and politely. would be happy to go back. highly recommended for a good eating in a relaxed, stylish atmosphere.

The menu at this restaurant is fantastic, with options to please everyone. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced. We tried a risotto for £9 and a pasta dish for £10, both of which were cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, especially for a lunch meal.

This was the first restaurant I tried in Buxton and I was impressed. They had a great selection of wines and the atmosphere was perfect for a meal with friends or a casual drink. The layout was well-designed with two floors, making it a great spot for lunch, dinner, or just a quick drink. Highly recommend!
