Sakura Sushi And Buns Takeaway

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. We ordered a variety of sushi for three people and it was delicious. The food was prepared quickly, despite the restaurant being busy. Thank you!

Absolutely love this place, cant recommend it enough. Can get quite busy on a weekend evening but that's just because they are so well loved! If you go any other time, ask for a recommendation from the menu. They have never disappointed me!

Lovely team producing great fresh food, including the most attractive and precise hand rolls. Fantastic steamed buns which I just can’t stop eating. Orders all ticked back before collection and everything has been perfect every time I have been. Denied absolute perfection by the absence of more environmentally sound packaging.

We have been here many times and their sushi and buns are consistently amazing. They have so many unique and creative sushi’s especially if you’re vegetarian. I ordered from this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The only slight downside was the wait for the order, but it was worth it. Everything was freshly made and extremely tasty. The sushi was beautifully presented and delicious. All of the hot dishes were excellent and enjoyed by meat eaters, seafood lovers, and the vegan in our group. Another positive was that the vegan options were clearly labeled and diverse. I now understand why there was a wait - the food was definitely worth it!

We have been getting takeaway from here for last couple of years and it's now our regular weekly treat. They have a small food/breakfast style bar to eat in but it's mostly a takeaway restaurant. Food is fresh and healthy and not oily and heavy like other takeaway food. It really is home cooked food at the highest quality.I have been to Japan many times and can confirm that this is an authentic Japanese tasting restaurant. We have recommended to many friends who now go here regularly.Staff are lovely and friendly and make an effort to get to know you and greet you. They appreciate their customers.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I should have written this review ages ago. I'm a regular at Sakura but I have wanted to keep the place a secret for myself but that is obviously not fair or sustainable. Fortunately the rest of the world doesn't think selfishly like me. What can I say about this place. Well lets start with the food. It's frankly the best Sushi I've ever had and I've done my fair share of travel. We moved to South Woodford 5 years ago and have previously used Wansteads Sumo Fresh until Sakura moved in.
