we made a bike tour to lunch. I was already on the bike tour, so I know this place. Unfortunately, the quality seems to have been neglected since my last visit. the grill portion is no longer as robust as before, but overall it was still good. a beautiful lunch with authentic German taste.

I had a ginger lemonade the Flammkuchen Mediterran (basically a German pizza ... it was great! the olives and cheese combined well to give a flavour to the crunchy thin bread base fused with lots of onion. Will recommend, despite the slightly higher cost!...Well worth it for a summer outing with friends!

we visited some beer gardens in berlin at our visit. I have not enjoyed our visit or the beer here as much as others. many large sunshades that kept the sun, but I found it very hot and damp underneath. much green, the small “rooms” creates. very busy on a hot Sunday. not as big as other gardens. would probably not hurry back. more lively, beautiful place and the service is good. the problem is that the portion sizes are always ridiculously small. we ordered leberkase, everyone got a tiny little slice, a lot of sour wort. this was not the case before. it is better to ask for something more but to be generous. pity, as it offers a good value for money.

The best thing about this place is the HUGE garden which is beautiful to sit in, in nice weather. The menu is very modest a few daily dishes and lots of flammenkuchen (the Alsacean pizza options which is probably the best thing to...eat. It is self-service based, the staff is nice. Prices affordable. All in all beautiful atmosphere.

we visited in the frame of the fatbike bike city tour. they have English menus and loudspeakers, if necessary. kind service. the order at the top window is for menu dishes and drinks from the barrel, but there is also a grill area the steps down to a faster option if the time is short. the summer salad was perfect for lunch chill out in take them cash, as their cards may not be accepted. Location unbeatable in the middle of Tiergarten you',ll arrive at this Place After a pleasant Wal in the Woods, it's a haven of peace, peeping the boats passing along the Canal, staff superfriendly and attentive , food anda drinks pretty good I had a gebackene...Scholl fish with potato salad and a creative salad, all delicious It:s not my first time there and won't,t be the last one I Hope!!

On a sunny June afternoon we met for business in the generously built beer garden Schleusenkrug where you can also have lunch. So I ordered a watergate salad with avocado, sheep cheese, fried watermelon and chanterelle polenta and a yogi tea with milk and honey....You pay for both directly at the counter and name your table number, then both were brought quickly. The yogi tea tasted nice cinnamon-like, but not too obtrusive, especially the honey, which you can dose individually, rounds it off well. The salad is a bit more exotic, especially the fried watermelon made me curious. Avocado was very fresh, the feta cheese in combination with the watermelon rounded off well with the very good chan...

I was first introduced to Schleusenkrug in by my son who lives in Berlin. And since my first visit,it's become my regular,,biergarten every time I visit Berlin. The food and bier is great, but what is so special is the cosy unfussy outside seating...area beneath the trees. The sparrows are always good company sharing any crumbs you drop. It's very popular with visitors and locals alike which is always a great sign when Berliners travel across the city to visit and nearby workers take their lunchbreak there.Although it can get very busy, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
