"Very attractive, very nice (not quite elegant) old German castle atmosphere. Extensive menu and the food was excellent. My wife said the Schnitzel was better than at a recommended restaurant in Berlin. My pork steak was very good. One of our companions particularly enjoyed the...liver and onions. We definitely enjoyed the generous portions of vegetables and the side salad. Not quite so common in German cuisine, but well appreciated when traveling. Prices were definitely reasonable. Service was good."

The menus were in English, and the (attentive) waiter was from Ukraine. We had the set lunch, available until which was reasonably priced.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant nach 20 Uhr, es war eine entspannte Stimmung und angenehme Atmosphäre. Bedienung war freundlich, die Präsentation der Speisen war sehr gut, ebenso wie die Qualität. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ambiente ist gans gut mit dem Essen kann man auch zufrieden sei. Aber die Wartezeit bis das Essen kommt dauert 1Stunde und dann noch 1Stunde bis dass Dessert kommt dann sind 2 Stunden vergangen und dann muß man raus gehen um die Parkuhr nach zustellen. Die küche müßte mal schneller sein ! ! !

...wenn man aber die Karte ansieht, entdeckt man eine Menge besondere Genüsse, die nicht so gewöhnlich sind. Ausgezeichnete Qualität und aufmerksame Bedienung machten den Aufenthalt und den Genuss der Malzeit zu einem rundherum angenehmen Erlebnis - sogar für meine Mutter, die gerade von einer Krankheit genesen war. If you are looking for German cuisine but not really the traditional, this is the place. The seasonal menu brings always nice meals from season ingredients. The fixed menu is amazing too. I would recommend specially the Shrimp as starter and the marzipan torte as...dessert. For min dish just pick your favorite. It won’t disappoint you.

Platz zum gemütlich Abends an Fluss sitzen perfekt, freundliche Bedienung, Essen entspricht nicht immer dem Anspruch. Lammrücken mit Ratatouille und Rosmarinkartoffeln... Lammrücken komplett trocken, dem Empfinden nach nur gewärmt, auf keinen Fall Frisch gebraten und dann aufgeschnitten. Beilagensalat mit trockenen Schnittfläche an Gurken und Tomaten... Das geht besser, in Bezug zum Preis passt die Leistung nicht.
