The food was solid but nothing exceptional. I had a tarte flambée that I enjoyed. My companion, on the other hand, had cheese spaetzle, which was less than convincing. However, it should be mentioned that we ate very late. The ambience, on the other hand, was absolutely impressive – a true dream and a special feel-good atmosphere.

Haben uns am Abend dazu entschlossen aufgrund guter Bewertungen im Schwabentroll essen zu gehen... 3 Personen...1 Radler,1 Pfefferminztee und 1x Icetee... 1x Blackforest Cheeseburger 1xSchwappasbrettl und Bruchetta Menge war reichlich...alles sehr lecker. Nette Bedienung und gutes Ambiente... Haben für alles 65€ bezahlt...gern wieder..

A wonderful restaurant with authentic Swabian cuisine that I always enjoy visiting. The food is of excellent quality and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. I particularly like that there are new offers on a regular basis, such as special themed evenings, which provide variety. A place where you feel comfortable and always want to come back. Das Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum von Leonberg. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen ist qualitativ, wie geschmacklich sehr gut. Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht und das schmeckt man. Die Portionen sind auch nicht gerade klein. Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier wird man richtig verwöhnt.

A nice restaurant with ambience. We were there for the first time. The service was always attentive. Unfortunately the food was not recommended. Schnitzel with fries and salad. The schnitzel was extremely thin, the breading was definitely thicker. Cheese spaetzle was good. Unfortunately the sauce wasn't to our taste at all. The beer was stale. All in all it was disappointing for us.

Beautiful entrance area and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately very big and loud. The food was lovingly prepared. But for all of us there were parts of the food that were cold. I had a pan of cheese noodles that were completely cold, as if I had forgotten to put them in the oven. Some things also seem to be industrially produced and not prepared in-house. We ordered a Wienerschnitzel, a veggie burger and fries to take away. Around 50 euros for everything. The schnitzel had shrunk by 50 percent, all the breading was broken and dark brown, and the meat was almost impossible to chew in some places. You had the feeling that the schnitzel had been in the fridge for a few days and that it had been briefly warmed up in the microwave. Some of the fries are raw. Gravy terrible. Veggie burger... as well. It always used to be good. I can't understand how a chef can sell something like that to a customer. But I know that we threw away €50 in the trash can. Never again.

We've been there a few times since it opened. The food has always been very good and appealing, and the service has been very friendly and accommodating. Last night, after about half a year, dirt again. Total disappointment! The food was just at cafeteria level. The schnitzels are absolutely not recommended! Very thin and guaranteed to be ready straight from the catering large pack. Breading was not nice, the gravy was a thick, tasteless mush. French fries also look different. I suspect that the boss has changed in the last few months or the red pencil has been applied. Given the current situation, I predict that the Swabian Troll, as good as it started, won't survive much longer.

Hatte mich so auf was anständiges Schwäbisches gefreut; allerdings wurden Kollege und ich sehr schwer enttäuscht!!! Panniertes Schnitzel mit Pilzrahmsosse und selbstgemachten Eierknöpfle. Statt Beilagensalat nahm ich den Kartoffelsalat weil ich guten Kartoffelsalat liebe! Kollege gleiches Schnitzel allerdings mit Bratkartoffeln Bratensosse und Beilagensalat. Soweit so gut ...zeitlich war auch alles ok. Dann kam das Essen. Sah auf den ersten Blick ganz gut aus. Aber: Die Panade der Schnitzel hat ganz komisch geschmeckt. Zudem waren die Schnitzel nicht richtig durch! Die selbstgemachten Eierknöpfle waren dann Spätzle die mit sicherheit NICHT selbstgemacht waren oder das können die dort ebenfal... Visualizza piatti
